Chapter four brings us to the latter half of Black Myth Wukong. The difficulty here ramps up considerably, with two of the hardest bosses in the game being secrets in this chapter.

The chapter named Rosy Cheeks, Gray Hair, also comes with the first missable bossfight that you can’t go back to after finishing the final main boss, so make sure to follow this guide before you’re done with the chapter.
Start from the Verdure Bridge Shrine. Go through the mossy area and turn left as soon as you can.
From there, run toward the gate with two lamps by the door.
Walk in, loot the area, and walk past the webs at the back of the room. The Amourworm will be found there, by a cliff.

After killing it, teleport to the Zodiac Village, and give the spirit to Chen Loong to eventually unlock a new, secret Spirit.
To find the Venom Daoist, travel to the Pool of Shattered Jade Shrine. From there, go towards the web sacs. Kill the ones that attack you, or dodge past them.
After getting through, you’ll notice a much bigger web sac in front of the house shown above. Hit it and the Venom Daoist will come out, beginning the boss fight.

If you want a secret item, the Venomous Armguard, take this fight slow, and do not damage the Venom Daoist unless you have him Immobilized. The key here is to exclusively hit the arms on his back while he is frozen.
Successfully breaking all his arms will drop the item at the end of the encounter.
Start at the Cliff of Oblivion Shrine, and before you do anything, equip the Cloud Step Spell, if you haven’t already. Now, go towards the corridor shown above. Run through it and walk past the tail of the boss that serves as a bridge. Drop down, and go right.
Keep running until you find a way to drop down to your left, onto the bridge shown in the image below.
Keep following this path until you spot a ton of web sacs on top of an even smaller bridge. Any misstep here will make you fall, so it’s time to use Cloud Step. Use it before drawing the attention of the sacs and you’ll be able to safely get through.
Stay on the same path until you find an open, green area filled with trees and moss. Stick to your left, until you find an opening with a ton of logs lying around, as shown below. There’s a Shrine just past them, as highlighted in your image.
Just walk up the stairs next to the Shrine, and the Yellow Loong will be awaiting by the cliff.
If he’s not there, it is because you haven’t fought the previous Loongs yet. These are Red Loong, Black Loong, and Cyan Loong, in that order. Follow the links to find guides on how to find each of them.
Finding the Supreme Inspector is easy, being able to make him spawn though, that’s the hard part. This is, as far as we know, the only boss fight in the game that you won’t be able to play if you don’t do things in the correct order.
You’ll likely have encountered a purple talisman throughout Chapter 4. You need to collect three of these, which will in turn allow you to access the fourth talisman.
All of this has to be done before killing the final boss of the chapter, or you’ll be locked out of this side quest and boss fight until you start a new game, or new game plus.
The first talisman can be found by traveling to the Verdure Bridge Shrine again. Go to the mossy area to the left of the Shrine, and go left. Run past the door with the two lamps, and hug the left wall. You’ll find an opening, as shown above.
Go out into the opening, and turn left, towards the path shown in the previous screenshot. Run past the web sacs, and hug your left. If you find this opening, you’ll know your on the right path.
Kill the Lantern enemy, make your way forward through the gate, and up the stairs on your left. Take down yet another Lantern foe, and cross the wooden bridge on your right.
The talisman will be glowing purple, in the highlighted statue shown above.
For the second talisman, travel to the Cliff of Oblivion Shrine and look around until you spot the statue in the water in front of the small house. The talisman is right there for the taking.

Walk back to the Shrine, and teleport to the Relief of the Fallen Loong Shrine. If you don’t know what that is, check the previous entry on the Yellow Loong. From there, walk towards the direction shown below, to the left of the massive tree.
Enter the massive cave, and make your way to the left. Keep running until you see two lit flames on your right, as per the screenshot.
The third talisman is attached to a statue just like the two previous ones, found in the area after you cross the path between the two flames.
With the first three talismans taken care of, travel to the Court of Illumination Shrine, and go towards the back of the huge tree. Run up the stairs until you find this open area with the fourth and final talisman waiting in the center.
Remove it, and the boss fight will start. Kill the Supreme Inspector and loot the item behind him to raise your Maximum Stamina.
From the Court of Illumination Shrine, walk towards the gate shown above. Run past the enemies, and into the house to your left.
You can ignore all the enemies, so just keep on running. You’ll go up a ton of stairs, until you eventually walk into an open area with two possible paths. Take the one on the left, and drop down into the arena.
If you followed the beginning of this guide and defeated the Venom Daoist during the first encounter, he’ll be here waiting for you.
Kill him, and approach the painting on this wall. That will allow you to access chapter four’s secret area, the Purple Cloud Mountain.
The Daomist Mi boss fight is unlocked at the end of another multi-step quest line, and one which requires a random drop from an enemy. Start from the Valley of Blooms Shrine in the Purple Cloud Mountain, and go towards the path shown above.
Stay on that path, run across the suspended bridge, and talk to the snake that is slithering up this tree. Run back toward the Shrine again, and this time go towards the opposite direction, past the big wooden bridge.
Run past the tall gate, take down all the enemies and go through the middle of the two statues shown below.
Rest at the Shrine found immediately after these. The Daomist Mi can be found after you take the stairs, by the table in front of the house.
He will not be aggressive yet, as you need to complete his quest line in order to fight him. Exhaust his dialogue, and make your way through the village to your right, taking down every enemy you see. At the top of the village, you’ll spot another Shrine.
Rest here, and repeat your path between the two shrines, resting every time you reach them. You need to clear the area of these enemies until one of them drops a key item called Violet Hail.

Once you have that, go back towards Daoist Mi, talk to him, give him the item, and the boss fight will begin.
From the Valley of Blooms Shrine, cross the big wooden bridge, and immediately turn right, towards the open area shown below.
Walk forward while hugging the left wall, and look for the big gate in the middle of the trees.
Rest at the Shrine right after it, you won’t take this boss down on your first try. Go up the stairs, and you’ll spot the Scorpionlord lying on top of the small wooden house.
Break the pots underneath him, and prepare for one of the hardest fights in the game.
The final boss in Purple Cloud Mountain is the Duskveil. Finding him is the easy part. From the Cloudnest Peak Shrine, the one you found during the Daomist Mi quest line, walk up the stairs, and you’ll find him waiting in front of the massive tree roots.
Don’t be misled by his easy first phase. Hold onto your mana, spirit and vessels, because his second phase makes him an incredible challenge.
