Black Myth Wukong opens up considerably in Chapter 2.
The desert of Yellow Wind Ridge brings it with more regions, shrines, and bosses than what we found in Chapter 1.

If you haven’t found all bosses in the first chapter of Black Myth Wukong, you can find a guide to help you with that here.
There are a total of 17 bosses to be found in Black Myth Wukong’s second chapter, but only four of them are required.
Most bosses in this Chapter 2 can be missed, and some of the coolest fights in Yellow Wind Ridge are actually secret bosses. Here’s how you can find them all.
The rewards between () in the King Of Flowing Sands And Second Rat Prince boss fight are only acquired if you kill the King first.
If you just kill the Second Rat Prince, you will miss out on both rewards, unless you reload a previous save through the game’s automatic backups.
From the Village Entrance shrine, drop from this bridge and head into this dark path by the stone statue.
Keep progressing until you find a lake, and there you’ll see Lang-Lu-Guhh-Baw attacking Xu Dog, an helpful NPC.
From the same Village Entrance shrine, cross the bridge towards the big gate. If you haven’t gone to the other side of it, avoid getting close.
It will be filled with archers that you can’t kill yet. Instead, go right after crossing the bridge.
Drop into another wooden bridge at the right edge of the area, and from there on keep hugging the left wall. Fight through the enemies along the way, while keeping a close eye on the multiple ranged foes spread throughout.
While staying to your left, make your way around the buildings until you find this small gate. Past it, you’ll find the Earth Wolf waiting for you.
From the Valley of Despair shrine, head forward into the big cave. Fight past the two enemies and, as soon as you reach the clearing shown above, jump down into the area on your left.
If you didn’t kill the King of Flowing Sands in your fight against him and his Second Son, a cutscene will start, summoning the boss.
If you killed him, you’ll have to summon the First Prince of Flowing Sand yourself, by using the Pungent Flesh Chunk.
To find this Yaoguai Chief, teleport to the Squall Hideout shrine in the Fright Cliffs. While facing the shrine, go through the path on your left. Keep going until you reach a clearing with a statue on your left.
From there, head forward, past the dark tunnel lit with small fires and, once you see a bifurcation, hug the left wall. There is a third path, the one with the stone stairs, and that’s the one you want to follow.
Keep going forward until you reach a clearing, where you’ll find the boss in the left corner, motionless. Hitting it will start the fight.
From the Squall Hideout shrine in the Fright Cliff, head towards the wooden structures in the distance, to your left.
Take down the Spearbone Yaoguai, and climb all the wooden stairs while taking down the three ranged enemies.
When you reach the top, jump down towards the bridge on your left, and down again into clearing below. The Man-In-Stone will be at the end of the path.
If you’ve taken down the Mother Of Stones already, exhaust his dialogue and give him the item he wants, and you’ll be able to initiate the boss fight.
If you followed our chapter 1 guide, this will be the second Loong you fight in Black Myth Wukong, and it will be found in a similar way.
From the Rockrest Flat shrine in the Fright Cliffs, go up the stairs until you see a sandfall (waterfall of sand), guarded by a Spirit enemy.
Defeat it, interact with the sandfall and you’ll unlock the way towards Black Loong. If you can’t interact with the sandfall, check the Red Loong part of the previously linked article to learn more.
If you’re new to Black Myth Wukong - or having trouble killing this boss, our Best Early Builds might help.
In Black Myth Wukong, to unlock Shingandang’s fight, you first need to interact with six buddha head statues spread throughout the Fright Cliffs.
First, travel to the Squall Hideout shrine, and you’ll see one right behind you. Interact with it, to gather the first needed eyeball.
From that same spot, head towards the left of the shrine, as if you were traveling into the cave that leads to the Mother Of Stones fight.
This time, instead of going inside the cave, go left, behind the wooden statue, and you’ll find the second Buddha’s Eyeball by the campfire.
Go back to the Squall Hideout shrine, and look for the wooden structure above the area where you meet the Man-in-Stone. Climb the stairs to the top of the final platform, and the third buddha head will be there.
Jump across the chasm below, and the fourth buddha head will be lying by the left wall. From there, head back into the clearing with the kneeling statue again. This time, go right into the cave towards the Mother of Stone’s boss arena.
Enter the arena, look for the opening on the right side of it where the sunlight is pouring in, and you’ll see the fifth buddha head on a wooden platform.
Travel to the Rockrest Flat shrine in the Fright Cliffs, and you’ll see the final Buddha’s Eyeball you need right in front of you.
Head past the gate behind it to its right, back into the arena where you fought the Stone Vanguard and you’l find a massive Buddha head. Interact with it, and the boss fight will begin.
The second Character boss fight of Black Myth Wukong’s second chapter is another betrayal from a friendly NPC.
This enemy is the Drunken Boar you’ll have probably met, and you have to progress his quest to unlock his fight.
To find him, travel to the Rockrest Flat shrine, go left into the large clearing with a Spearbone, kill it, and break through the wooden fence behind him.
Exhaust the Drunken Boar’s dialogue, and travel to the Squall Hideout shrine in the Fright Cliffs.
Go back to the Man-In-Stone and, if you’ve finished his quest and some time has passed, he will sell you stuff. Crucially, he sells you the Sobering Stone, which you can use to sober the Drunken Boar up.
Go back to him, exhaust his dialogue again, and travel to the Temple Entrance shrine in the Crouching Tiger Temple. Head up the stairs and take the third right, the one with the huge tiger statue.
The Drunken Boar will be sitting in front of it.
Exhaust his dialogue again, and give him some Jade Lotus. If you don’t have one, you can just search water areas until you find some. After doing so, travel again to the Rockrest Flat.
If you’ve been following this Black Myth Wukong guide, you’ll have already killed the First Prince Of The Flowing Sands, and you’ll have the Arhat Gold Piece the Boar wants.
If you don’t, go get it.
Once you have it, go to the place where you first met the Drunken Boar and he’ll be ready to fight you now.
After taking down the Yellow-Robed Squire in Black Myth Wukong, he will forfeit the fight and help you head into the secret kingdom he spoke of. Follow him through the doors towards the back of his boss arena.
There, you’ll find the Kingdom of Sahali. Rest at the Sandgate Pass shrine, and make your way forward. You’ll find the “Tiger Vanguard” defending a large passage.
Taking him down will let you cross that passage and find a beautiful open area filled with sand, with a massive pagoda looming in the distance.
Talk to the massive Yaoguai, the Yellow Rat Sage, standing by the drum. Talk to him, and help him take down the mighty Fuban.
After taking down the Tiger Vanguard, head past the crouching Tiger Temple, and keep going right until you reach the Windrest Bridge shrine. Rest at the shrine, and cross the bridge filled with enemies.
Take a first right, clear the area of the smaller foes, and walk through the path shown above.
After crossing it, go left through the breakable wooden fence, and beware of the enemy hiding to your right, ready to ambush.
Travel towards your right, up the path until you reach this gate with two statues. Run past it and keep going upwards until you find the Windrest Hamlet shrine on your left, before a bridge much like the one after the Windrest Bridge shrine.
Cross it and go left past the big, wooden building. In the distance, you’ll see another gate surrounded by a localized sandstorm.
Past this gate there is a massive bridge and, in the middle of it, the Tiger’s Acolyte waiting for you.
To find the Mad Tiger, you need to first take down the Tiger’s Acolyte. He’ll drop the Old-Rattle Drum, which is the key to finding this boss.
From the Windrest Hamlet shrine, make your way back towards the gate shown above, cross and head left. As soon as you enter, you’ll hear the voice of a child. That’s the first location done.
Travel to the Valley of Despair shrine, head back through the boss arena behind it, past the massive stone doors. Walk down the stairs, and take a right through the wooden house shown above. You ’ll hear the child speaking again.
Finally, teleport to the Village Entrance shrine, go past the main gate and hug the left wall until you find this passage, right by the massive tree.
Go through, and you’ll find a well on your left surrounded by skeletons. Interact with it, and you’ll be teleported into the Mad Tiger’s arena.
After taking down both the Tiger Vanguard and the Stone Vanguard, teleport to the Valley of Despair shrine in Sandgate Village.
Head back towards the arena where you fought the King Of Flowing Sands And Second Rat Prince, and interact with the small statue by the gate.
If you’ve already killed the two Vanguard bosses, you’ll be able to open the large stone doors. Travel past them, fight through the enemy guarding the small wooden bridge, and keep going until you get to a clearing with a large dead tree in the middle.
That’s where you’ll find the Gore-Eye Daoist in Black Myth Wukong Chapter 2.
