Nearly every region was shaken up by roster changes leading into the RLCS 2026 season, but that's nothing we haven't seen before.
However, the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region may be on the verge of witnessing the dethroning of the most successful team in the region's history.
Team Falcons wins the RLCS 2025 Raleigh MajorTeam Falcons are, without a doubt, the most successful organization to compete in MENA since the region's addition to the RLCS.
Every single player who has a case for being MENA's GOAT has competed under the Team Falcons banner at some point in their career.
Including the first RLCS LAN the organization ever attended, the RLCS 2021-22 Spring Split Major, Team Falcons has been the #1 seed from MENA at 9 out of 11 RLCS LANs held.
The only other organization to ever attend a LAN as MENA's #1 seed was Rule One at the 2022-2023 Spring Split Major and 2022-2023 World Championship.
Team Falcons had arguably the best, most consistent RLCS 2025 performance out of any professional team.
With a 5-6th place finish in Birmingham, a historic victory in Raleigh, and a runner-up performance at the World Championship, only Karmine Corp and NRG can even be considered in the running for the season's best.
Twisted Minds wins Saudi eLeague 2025Twisted Minds has consistently qualified for LANs over the past 2 years of RLCS and fielded some serious talent, including multiple former Falcons, Major-winner rise, and the current 1v1 World Champion Nwpo.
However, after signing trk511 and M0nkey M00n, the best players in MENA and Rocket League's history, respectively, the organization has rocketed up most of the community's power rankings.
With Nwpo filling the third spot and an experienced coach in Sadjunior, Twisted Minds' roster could intimidate most other squads simply by having their names read aloud.
The RLCS 2026 season hasn't even begun, but Twisted Minds has already proven that they aren't just a threat on paper.
Just over a week ago, they took the Saudi eLeague 2025 title, decisively beating Team Falcons not once, but TWICE, first 31 in the Upper Final and then 4-2 in the Grand Final.
As expected, this result made shockwaves throughout the RLCS community, and there is much debate about whether it was a fluke or if MENA really has a new top dog.
After both finishing 3-0 during this season's Open 1 Swiss Stage, these two powerhouses will likely encounter each other by the end of the week, with the winner almost certainly claiming the MENA #1 spot to kick off RLCS 2026.
