Top 10 roster moves ahead of RLCS 2026

The start of the RLCS 2026 season is right around the corner, with the brand new Kick Off LAN taking place next month.

As is tradition, the off-season since last year's World Championship has been full of crazy rumours and shocking roster news from teams at all levels of competitive success.

Here are the 10 officially announced roster moves that we think will have the most significant impact during the upcoming RLCS2026 season.

10. FUT Esports changes regions

The all-Spanish roster previously under FUT Esports sparked controversy within the Rocket League community for competing and qualifying for RLCS LANs in the Sub-Saharan Africa circuit.

Now, FUT Esports has signed an entirely North American starting roster following the new RLCS rule, which states that the majority of players on a team must meet regional eligibility requirements through citizenship or permanent legal residency.

This marks what many in the community consider a successful implementation of a rule requested for several years.

9. Karmine Corp gets juicy

juicy won last year's Copenhagen Major, but has been struggling to find the same success with Gentle Mates since then.

Now, he's been recruited by French org Karmine Corp alongside Team BDS icon Extra, who's taken on a coaching role.

This is a solid roster by all means, but there is some doubt on whether juicy will be able to elevate the team more than dralii, whose spot he is filling.

8. Vitality learns a little español

In a surprising departure from the trend of fully French-speaking rosters, Team Vitality has picked up Spanish player stizzy.

stizzy found success with Dignitas throughout the last year, finishing 2nd in the European standings by points and placing 2nd at the Raleigh Major.

He's replacing RLCS legend M0nkey M00n, who many community members believe to not be playing at the same level he once was.

7. EU MVP joins Team Falcons

One of the most shocking moves of the off-season has been Trk511's departure from the organisation he is all but synonymous with, Team Falcons.

While many have questioned his removal, nobody doubts the ability of his replacement, RLCS 2025 European MVP dralii.

6. Gen.G finally gets rise to NA

After years of rumours with varying levels of validity about the rise. Making the move to North America, the seemingly inevitable has finally happened.

After cutting CHEESE., Gen.G Mobil 1 Racing has brought the famously clutch Englishman to the United States.

5. Ninjas become Gentle Mates

Oski and nass had an outstanding finale to their RLCS 2025 season alongside Radosin on Ninjas in Pyjamas, securing a top 8 placement at Worlds despite only making it there via the LCQ.

Now, alongside a well-respected talent in Archie, they'll be representing Gentle Mates Alpine, which has also seemingly abandoned its commitment to maintaining a fully French-speaking roster.

4. Geekay unites crowd favourites

This may be the team with the fewest haters in all of RLCS.

Some folks are critical of the removal of Archie and oaly, with which Geekay Esports managed a top 4 finish at the latest World Championship.

However, they've regained a whole lot of goodwill and even more cumulative YouTube subscribers with the addition of ApparentlyJack and Seikoo.

3. Whole new roster for the Rebellion

In a sad but heartfelt sendoff, Shopify Rebellion parted ways with the roster that qualified them for their first RLCS World Championship ever.

Then, without missing a beat, they signed the former The Ultimates' core of Firstkiller and Lj alongside young gun kofyr, and Dignitas Rocket League legend ViolentPanda in a coaching role.

2. Twisted Minds signs two regions' GOATs

The best players to ever touch MENA and EU are now on the same roster.

Twisted Minds has united the household names of Trk511 and M0nkey M00n, whose individual achievements outshine those of most orgs.

If Nwpo can find even a fraction of his 1v1 effectiveness in 3v3, this roster may finally give Team Falcons a run for their money in MENA.

At a time when rosters are split up even after winning World Championships, NRG's decision to stick together after reaching the top of the Rocket League world is surprisingly... surprising.
