The Rocket League new season has just launched, but fans are already looking ahead to when the next season, Season 19, will release and how long they have to finish their Season 18 Rocket Pass.
So, when will the Rocket League season end?
As of now, Season 18 of Rocket League is scheduled to end on June 18, 2025. This gives players about three months to complete their Rocket Pass, increase their ranks, and experience the exclusive features that the new season offers.
Rocket League Season 18 started on March 14, 2025, and, like most Rocket League seasons of the past, is scheduled to last about three months. At the time of writing, the new Rocket League season is scheduled to end on June 18, 2025.
This means that players will have just over three months to engage with the new content, grind the competitive ladder, and finish the new Rocket Pass.
Past Rocket League seasons have generally lasted three to four months, so Season 18 is right on schedule. This doesn’t mean that Psyonix won’t extend the season a bit, as they’ve done as recently as Season 17.
The official end time for Season 18 is expected to be 8:00 AM PDT (3:00 PM UTC) on June 18, 2025. After that, the game will transition to Season 19 with a new Rocket Pass, fresh rewards, and gameplay updates.
Season 18 introduced quite a bit of new content to the game. Some of this will stick around after Season 18, but limited-time items like the Rocket Pass and competitive rewards will be exclusive to the new Rocket League season, so you’ll need to complete them before the end date of June 18.
Psyonix typically warns players about the end of a Rocket League season a few weeks in advance, so stay tuned to the official Rocket League social media accounts for updates.
As we covered, this wouldn’t be the first time that they extended a season beyond the expected end date, and it’s still early.
Whether you're grinding ranked or just aiming to finish the Rocket Pass, make sure to reach your goals before the season ends on June 18, 2025.
Rocket League Season 18 went live on March 14, 2025, introducing several new features, vehicles, arenas, and mutators to the game.
You only have a limited time to explore some of these features, so make sure to log in, complete your challenges, and claim your rewards before time runs out.
As always, the new season came with a new Rocket Pass, which featured new “high-tech themed items.”
Cosmetics are always exciting when opening a new Rocket Pass, but the highlights are the new cars and bodies. For Season 18, the new cars are the Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack and the Azura - the former using the popular Dominus hitbox and the latter using the Breakout hitbox.
The pass also introduces new player banners, toppers, and trails to personalize your ride. As always, there’s a free side and a paid side, with the Premium Rocket Pass offering exclusive rewards and XP boosts.
The new arena in Rocket League Season 14 is called Futura Garden. Like the Rocket Pass for the season, Futura Garden has high-tech, futuristic vibes.
The bright lights, vibrant colors, and minimalist design give the new map a unique feel, but it’s not unlike some similar arenas Psyonix has introduced in the past.
This new arena is available in Casual, Competitive, and Private Matches so that players can experience it across all game modes. Whether you're grinding ranked or just messing around with friends, Futura Garden adds a fresh look to Rocket League’s ever-growing list of dynamic stadiums.
Rocket League Season 18 introduces several new Mutators, which let players customize their matches for a unique and chaotic experience.
One of the most interesting additions is the Multiple Balls Mutator, where you can play with up to six balls at once.
The Jump Mutator also lets you tweak the jumping mechanics, whether you want unlimited jumps, grounded-only jumps, or no jumps at all.
The Dodge Timer Mutator changes how long you have to pull off a dodge. Similar to the Jump Mutator, you can tweak how often you want to allow dodges in your game.
There are also new scoring updates, like Possession Score, which rewards ball control, and Demolish Score, which gives you points for demolishing opponents.
One of the coolest new options is Enforce Territories, where a wall divides the field. If you land on the other side, you’re done. All of these new options offer a fun, unique, and interesting take on a game that’s celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2025.
The new Rocket League season also brought gameplay refinements and quality-of-life improvements to the game.
One small change is to the crossbar and goal post sound effects. The ball now makes a distinctive pinging sound when it hits the crossbar, with the pitch changing based on the speed of the ball at the time of the hit. This makes near-misses and clutch saves even more intense.
Matchmaking also got a boost with subregion matchmaking improvements. Players will now ping specific data centers within their region, which should help reduce latency and make connections more stable.
Finally, we get Season 17 competitive rewards, including goal explosions and titles based on the highest rank you achieved in the previous season.
