Karmine Corp were nothing short of incredible on their road to winning the RLCS 2025 Birmingham Major.
One of the most dominant runs in RLCS history, they swept both the semi-final and the grand final, lifting the first trophy of 2025 following a 4-0 win against The Ultimates.
After the match, we spoke to their newest member dralii to discuss the event and his move to the team.
"We're going to stay on top"
Congratulations on the win, how are you feeling?
I'm feeling good, I got my first MVP ever and we proved that we're the best team in the world by far, so I'm very happy.
You recently joined the team, how has it been so far?
It's been great, we have a really high win rate in scrims, we've always clicked as soon as I joined.
You won Worlds last year, did you expect to be on a new team when you won this year?
Honestly, I did yeah. We all felt like if we played another year together it wouldn't go as well as it did and I expected to join a new team because of it.

When I saw that we were playing against FURIA and The Ultimates, I knew that we could get it over with as fast as possible. They weren't the teams I expected to play against. Maybe FURIA, but The Ultimates I didn't expect it at all, as soon as I saw it I knew that these guys aren't big game players. They're good players, but they usually choke at the really big moments. We have more experience and we're just better overall.
Getting the trophy in your first tournament, is that a statement of intent for the rest of the year?
For sure, when I joined the team the goal was to win everything we can. We're aiming towards the World Championship, and this is our statement of that. We're going to stay on top.
As you said, this is your first MVP, are you entering the peak of your career now?
For sure, it really doesn't get much better than this.
