Firstkiller and sadjunior on NA vs EU: "NA all the way, and we'll prove that"

After a blockbuster semi-final against NRG, The Ultimates are the first team through to the RLCS Birmingham Major grand final.

A match which they won in a nailbiter of a game seven, Firstkiller and sadjunior were obviously elated following the win.

After the match, we caught up with the duo to discuss the game and their potential opponents in the final.

"Every time we lost it was because we panicked a little bit"

With that win you're through to the final, how are you feeling?

Firstkiller: I'm feeling good, I'm super excited to finally be back in the Major finals and hopefully we can take it home.

sadjunior: Feeling good, I haven't been in a final since Vegas back in 2017. It's been a long time, so hopefully we do good.

Does it feel better to get to the final doing it how you did in a really close game seven?

Firstkiller: I'd prefer it if we swept, but regardless, a win is a win.

sadjunior: Like he said, a win is a win. I prefer it when the other team is playing at their peak and we beat them at their best, that's when it feels the most rewarding. I hope that we continue to do that and the teams we play continue to play well against us.

In terms of those really close game seven games, what do you say before you go into that final game?

Firstkiller: Before that game, I basically just said we need to chill. If we play calm and relaxed and trust each other, we'll come out on top.

sadjunior: Every time we lost it was because we panicked a little bit and didn't trust each other, I think we realised that and we consistently reminded each other after every game and every goal that we trust each other and we can just calm down and win.

It's your first event of the year and as a roster, how does that add to the feeling of getting to the final in your first tournament?

sadjunior: We created this team because all three players are really good, we created it to win championships. This is what the team is built for and we're going to do just that. We'll put up a really good fight and fight for that trophy.

How are you feeling about the final? It's either going to be FURIA or Karmine Corp, do you have a preference?

Firstkiller: I want to play Karmine Corp to get revenge on Vatira for two years ago. But either way, I don't care who we play, we're confident.

sadjunior: I want to play them as well, I think the crowd will be much better if we play them in the final. It's an NA/EU final, the classic, and I want us to beat them.

In that case, NA or EU, which is better?
