We’ve entered the final lap before the penultimate RLCS LAN of the season, the Paris Major. With a tumultuous split worldwide, we’ve got a lot to cover.
Luckily, we can sum up all of the clinch scenarios for you right here.
First up, North America.
It’s important to note that barring a truly insane Open 6, the four teams representing NA in Paris will be Shopify Rebellion, Spacestation Gaming, NRG, and FUT Esports. This split has been volatile; however, it is imperative that you know all of the possibilities going into the final NA regional of the season.
Shopify Rebellion are once again the top dogs of North America following a big-time regional win in Open #5. Because of this, they’re tied for first on the split with 26 points and only need a playoff appearance in Open #6 to clinch their spot at the Paris Major.

Spacestation, with an unretired Zach in tow, are tied with Shopify Rebellion for first place, mostly on the back of their Open #4 victory. With 26 points, Spacestation also need just a simple 7-8th place finish at minimum to be playing in front of a hostile French crowd.

Despite a huge roster change, opting to lose all of their points in exchange for getting Jstn and Chronic from the RLCS Transfer Portal, FUT Esports is sitting pretty in the Split #2 standings. With 20 points to their name after a second-place finish in Open #5, FUT can clinch with another Grand Final appearance. There’s still work to be done on their Worlds bid, as they are still 20 points outside of that NA4 spot, but an appearance in Paris can definitely boost their chances.

NRG can just about coast when it comes to Worlds, but for Paris, they still do need a top 2 finish to lock in their spot.
The defending World Champions are tied with FUT Esports heading into the final regional of the season, and should make sure they can still control their own destiny as long as they can, just to ward off any miraculous bid-steal.

Strictly Business are the only team outside of the top 4 with a somewhat realistic shot at the Paris Major.
The trio of Aqua, Crispy, and RelatingWave could steal a bid as long as someone bombs out, but they have to make sure they make it to the top 4 and beyond, otherwise their Major hopes are finished.
The rest of the big teams need to win Open #6 and some help as well. These teams include contenders such as Gen.G Mobil1 Racing, Virtus Pro, Dignitas, M80, Next2Nu, and 1. “Immigrants,” KrakenSeas, “LOB,” “Fellas,” and “nodopamine” also need an Open #6 victory and some divine intervention to boot.
AWD, Freedom, Southampton Academy, and all teams without any RLCS points are officially eliminated from Paris Major contention and will look toward the North American Last Chance Qualifier if they want to fulfill their dreams of playing at the Rocket League World Championship.
