How To Complete The Broken Monument Quest in ARC Raiders

Tian Wen doesn't immediately give you tasks at the start of Arc Raiders, but she will quickly start giving you some of the lengthiest and toughest quests to do in the game.

If you've been having trouble handling this one, here is how to complete the Broken Monument quest in ARC Raiders, which takes place entirely in the Dam Battlegrounds.

In One Round

This is one of the first quests in the game which has to be completed In One Round. You have multiple items to pick up and deliver, but you can't extract with one or two of them. The quest will only count if you bring all three items at once and deliver them to Tian Wen.

Broken Monument Quest Guide

Spawn into the Dam Battlegrounds and, if you have one or have 9000 coins lying around, bring a Raider Hatch key with you. As soon as you get into the raid, open your map and locate the Scrap Yard. You'll need to zoom in a bit to get the smaller region names to pop up, but you'll find it to the South-West of the Testing Annex.

As the name implies, the Scrap Yard is a smaller location filled with broken vehicles and other electronics. You'll find Industrial and Mechanical resources in the area, but that's not what you're here for.

You're here to find a compass, a video tape, and some old field rations. Here's where you can find them:

First Wave Compass

You'll find the compass in the middle of the broken trucks in the area of the map highlighted above. Look for this crate and the yellow icon pop-up indicating a quest item. Be sure to have three slots open in your inventory or the yellow circle might not even show up.

First Wave Tape

In an identical box to the one in which you found the compass there is the Video Tape. It is near some rusted tubes in the area highlighted above.

Lastly, you'll find the old field rations inside a third identical case, but this one isn't out in the open, it is in a nearby raider camp, the ones who look like Field Depots but without the antenna and blue tarp. It is around the area highlighted above.

Extracting

The Broken Monument quest in Arc Raiders is tough to complete because you need to do it in a single round and, unless you're carrying a MK.3 Augment kit, you will not have three safe pouches.

So if you die on your way to an extract, you'll have to redo the quest all over again. Avoid combat and try to use the emote wheel or proximity chat to make some friends.

There is an elevator North of the Testing Annex and one East of the Water Treatment Control, but if you brought a Raider Hatch key you'll be able to leave at the exit North of the Water Towers, highlighted in the image above.
