Project Gorgon has one of the deepest skill systems in any sandbox MMORPG. There are 130 total skills in the game, and 48 of them are Trade Skills.

These cover crafting gear, gathering materials, cooking food, breeding animals, writing books, and much more. Almost everything you do ties into a skill, and each one can be leveled up to 90.

Crafting is at the center of progression. Many builds depend on gear you make yourself or improve over time. Alchemy lets you craft potions, poisons, and ointments for combat. You can learn it from the Basics of Alchemy book on Anagoge Island or certain NPCs.

Blacksmithing is used to improve armor rather than create it from scratch. Armorsmithing is where you actually craft metal armor, but it requires Blacksmithing level 50 first. Bladesmithing focuses on swords, knives, claws, and dirks, and it also helps maintain weapons using tune-up kits.
Bowery allows you to craft bows and crossbows, and it works closely with Fletching, which is used to craft arrows.
Leatherworking helps you create leather armor and clothing, while Tanning is needed to process hides into usable leather.
Tailoring uses textiles to craft clothing and gear, and you can even add enchantments like inventory boosts or elemental bonuses.
Textile Creation supports Tailoring by producing the base cloth materials.
Toolcrafting is more advanced and lets you craft better skinning and butchering tools, but it requires several other skills to be leveled first.
Saddlery is for making horse gear such as saddles and saddlebags and requires Leatherworking level 50.
Jewelry Crafting lets you make rings and necklaces at a forge and needs Blacksmithing level 50.
Weapon Augmentation extracts enchantments from weapons and turns them into augments, destroying the original item in the process.
Armor Augmentation works the same way for chest and leg armor.
Ancillary-Armor Augmentation handles helms and shoes.
Jewelry Augmentation applies to rings and necklaces.
Shamanic Infusion allows you to add magical effects to gear using specific recipes.
Transmutation lets you reroll or change one existing modifier on a piece of gear.

Mining allows you to collect ores and metals from nodes.
Surveying helps you locate rare minerals and hidden resources.
Geology is important for finding gems and even improving parts of the teleportation system.
Foraging increases the quality of materials you gather in the wild.
Fishing lets you catch fish with your bare hands, while Angling uses a fishing pole and bait for better results.
Skinning is used to remove pelts from animals, and Butchering lets you collect meat and organs.
Gardening allows you to grow fruits, vegetables, and flowers.
Mycology focuses on mushrooms and lets you create bombs, potions, and poisons from them.
Mushroom Farming is a higher-level skill that lets you grow mushrooms in boxes, but it requires Mycology level 60 first.

Cooking lets you prepare regenerative meals, drinks, and other useful consumables. You can also give food to NPCs to gain favor.
Sushi Preparation is a higher-level extension of Cooking and requires level 25 in Cooking, Knife, and Fishing. It focuses on seafood dishes.
Brewing is used to create alcoholic beverages, which have their own effects and uses.
Cheesemaking helps you produce cheese, butter, and dairy items that are often useful for favor and cooking recipes.
Milling allows you to operate a grain mill efficiently and process grains into flour.

Artistry allows you to craft Jack-o'-Lanterns and Fireworks.
Art History helps you identify relics like old paintings and sell them at a better price.
Flower Arrangement gives buffs that help with Foraging, Fishing, and even combat.
Whittling lets you carve small wooden figurines that grant minor bonuses.
Buckle Artistry allows you to craft belt buckles that provide combat-related effects such as extra damage or reduced ability cost.
