ARC Raiders: How to complete the With a Trace quest

If you’re trying to finish the With a Trace quest in ARC Raiders and can’t figure out where to go or what to do, here’s a simple walkthrough to get it done without wasting time.

This one happens on the Blue Gate map and takes you across a few locations where you’ll inspect wreckage and devices to piece together what happened.

How to complete the With a Trace quest in ARC Raiders

Reach the Barren Clearing

First, head over to the Barren Clearing. You’ll find it on the Blue Gate map, west of Raider’s Refuge. Once you reach this area, the first part of the quest will complete automatically.

Inspect the Grey Sphere

When you’re in the Barren Clearing, look around for a grey spherical object sitting among the wreckage. Interact with it to trigger the next step.

Check the Adorned Wreckage

Next, move a bit south from the Barren Clearing until you find a large wreck that looks like a rocket or pod. This is called the Adorned Wreckage.

Approach it to complete another part of the quest. You can also climb it to find a weapon case nearby if you want some extra loot.

Find the Yellow Communications Device

Your last step is to find a bright yellow communications device among the debris. Walk up and interact with it. You’ll have to wait a few seconds for the scan to finish. Once it’s done, the quest will be completed.

Rewards

After you finish the quest, you’ll get some XP, a blue Shield, and a few Augments. It’s a good boost, especially early on when you’re still building up your gear.
