If you’re trying to figure out which characters to focus on in Duet Night Abyss, this tier list gives a clear picture of who stands out and who needs a bit more work.
Image via Hero GamesPsyche is one of the top damage dealers. She uses a polearm with fast attacks and strong mobility.
Daphne is a support character with healing and buff skills. She works especially well when your team needs to sustain more than raw damage.
Lynn is a balanced DPS: dual pistols/rifle style, slightly easier to play, and can slot into many teams.
Image via Hero GamesThis twin-inventor duo fights together, mixing fire-based mechanics and synergy effects.
Phantasio is more niche: a “burst” type character, dealing big damage in short windows. If you time things right and build them well, they perform.
Image via Hero GamesLisbell has utility and maybe situational strength, but lacks the flexibility or raw performance to keep up with higher tiers.
Rebecca uses ranged attacks with elegance and precision. Good in many scenarios, but you’ll find more value from higher-tier picks if you can.
Berenica is a solid generalist: melee-ranged transition, decent all-around stats. She’s a safe pick if you don’t have the best gear yet.
Rhythm uses a rapid-fire assault style, with good mid-range control. She works well, but again, she needs investment to shine.
This duo is support-oriented: healing, buffs, utility over pure DPS. Very useful in long fights or where the team sustains matters.
Sibylle has hybrid utility + survivability. She can fill a niche, especially in tougher fights where control or survival matters.
Hellfire brings heavy strikes and flame-based AoE damage. Works well if you like aggressive play, but maybe less flexible than top picks.
Lady Nifle uses life-drain and necrotic effects, which are good for self-sustain and control, but don’t have the full versatility of higher tiers.
Outsider is a frontline brute with sustained assault and shield resilience. Good when you need a strong “tanky” or break-through type character.
Image via Hero GamesRandy is fun to play and has a sword-based style blending tank/counterattack, but compared to higher tiers, he doesn’t perform as consistently well.
Tabethe focuses on ambush, dual blades, and high damage in short windows. Good if you like that style, but more situational and less flexible overall.
Image via Hero GamesMargie is a mechanical-tool hybrid user, with mixed elemental damage and gadgets.
She can work in early or casual play, but if you aim for end-game content, she will likely require too much effort relative to reward.
