Stella Montis's addition to ARC Raiders also brought with it a panoply of new quests exclusive to the map. One of those quests is Snap and Salvage, which requires you to follow a couple steps and deliver two very rare items.
Here is how to find Magnetron and Flow Controller in ARC Raiders, and how you should go geared into the raid given how hostile Stella Montis has been, even for solo players.
Image Via Embark Studios. Screenshot Captured By Blast. As far as we know, Magnetron and Flow Controllers can be found in any ARC Raiders map, but the best one to find them in is Stella Montis. These are two Exodus items and the only map with Exodus-focused locations is Stella Montis.
You can find them in other maps, you'll have looted at least one Exodus Module, for example, which is also an Exodus item, but the probability of it happening is much lower.
With that being said, Stella Montis has been a PVP graveyard ever since the honeymoon period of its release ended. While players are more often than not friendly when you're playing solo, that has not been the case in this new map, at least in our experience.
There are a few ways to deal with that problem, but let's first get into the best place to find the two items.
Although, as we previously pointed out, both Magnetron and Flow Controller are Exodus items, you shouldn't be looking for them in Stella Montis' areas marked as Exodus-focused, like Assembly or Business Center, for one simple reason: they're less likely to have rare items.
Magnetron is an Epic rarity item, while the Flow Controller is Rare. In our experience, the easiest place to find the two items in is Medical Research, on the lower level of Stella Montis. This is a red area, though, so you will almost definitely encounter hostile players.

The idea with this is to rush to the Medical Research and to immediately shove both the Magnetron and the Flow Controller into your safe slots as soon as you loot them.
They can spawn in most of the containers found in the rooms throughout the area, but be careful because the large majority of them is filled with windows that players can shoot through. Most of them also have multiple doors, so you will never be safe.
If you spawn close to the area and early enough in a raid, immediately rush and start looting. You can come equipped with a few Jolt Mines that you can set behind a few of the doors. Keep and eye on the windows as you loot.
You'll almost always find Shredders patrolling the area, keep them alive if you can. They cannot open doors and will not attack you through the windows unless you are actively shooting them. They'll serve as an early alarm system.
Once you have the two items, rush to the subway station located in the Cargo Dock A. Make sure to keep the items in your safe slots, you can still deliver them even if you die.
Once you've delivered both the Magnetron and the Flow Controller, the rest of Snap and Salvage is much easier to do, but it will still be incredibly annoying with the amount of PVP happening on the map. If you have a group of friends, bring them with you.
The first thing you have to do is to photograph any of the rover vehicles found in the sandboxes. Simply make your way to one of the sandboxes in Stella Montis, approach one of the vehicles, and interact to take a photo.

The easiest way to find this is to head to the Security Bridge (marked on the map), dropping down to the ground floor through the ziplines, and entering the room in the area highlighted above.
Inside that room you'll find some papers on a desk, investigate them. Neither of these steps require you to loot anything, so our advice is to attempt to complete them with free loadouts. Sure, you'll die more often, but at least you once be losing much.
