ARC Raiders- Stella Montis And Merits

Everyone who's played the game will tell you that ARC Raiders came out jam-packed with content, but that didn't spot Embark Studios from releasing a significant update two weeks following release.

The North Line update brought to ARC Raiders Stella Montis and Merits, unlocking the only locked map in the game and giving us a new currency to spend on a limited-time event. Here is everything you need to know.

ARC Raiders' new map, Stella Montis, was unlocked through the first community-wide event. Players had to donate basic materials. Once enough people did, everyone got access to the new map simultaneously.

It is quite different that all other Arc Raiders maps so far. Most of Stella Montis is indoors and it is split between two main floors. Beyond the usual deadly ARC units around, you'll also encounter a new one, the Shredder, an absolute menace which runs towards you and sprays shotgun ammo wildly, immediately annihilating players.

There's a ton of excellent loot on the map, a lot of new quests and, of course, a ton of players.

ARC Raiders Merits And Event Progression

Meritsare a new ARC Raiders currency exclusive to the limited time event that is running between today (November 14) and December 6. It is a liniar progression system which will unlock a mix of cosmetic items, gadgets, weapons, and Raider Tokens.

Progressing through this live event, called Staking Our Claim, is simple. Everytime you get 150 Merits, you get a new reward. capping at 3600. How do you get Merits, though?

How To Farm Merits

If you caught the first part of the event which had players donate materials to unlock access to Stella Montis, you kicked off Staking Our Claim with 900 Merits. From now on, though, Merits are earned by getting XP. 100 experience points equals 1 Merit. All earned XP counts, it is not limited to the Stella Montis map.

So if you want to claim the rewards as quickly as possible, focus on farming XP through killing and looting ARCs, searching containers (even ones which are already open), and by successfully extracting, of course.

• 1950 Merits- x100 Raider Tokens
• 2100 Merits- Dirt Full Face Style
• 2250 Merits- Extended Barrel Epic Mod
• 2400 Merits- Orange Striker Outfit Color
• 2550 Merits- x100 Raider Tokens
• 2700 Merits- Padding Striker Outfit Variant
• 2850 Merits- 1x Snap Hook
• 3000 Merits- Red Striker Outfit Color
• 3150 Merits- x100 Raider Tokens
• 3300 Merits- Helmet Striker Outfit Variant

23 days to unlock 24 items, a very fair proposition. Good luck in the Rust Belt, Raiders, just make sure you don't underestimate the Shredder.
