2XKO, Riot Games' fighting game is finally playable to the wider public, even though it is still only a Closed Beta test. Utilizing characters from the wildly successful MOBA League of Legends, still called champions, this tag fighter is here to stay.
The game came out with 9 playable champions at the time of the Closed beta release, but the 10th one has already been leaked. Here are all 2XKO characters, and their general role.
At the time of the closed beta release, 9 champions are available as playable characters. They fulfill a variety of roles, even though 2XKO doesn't have specific fighting types as seen in games like Street Fighter. Here are all champions in alphabetical order.

The Nine-Tailed Fox is able to dash in the air with ease, has an arsenal of both ranged and melee tools, and has access to her League of Legends ultimate ability, Spirit Rush, as an extra dash.

While Blitzcrank is a support in LoL, do not underestimate is power in 2XKO. He is a grappler, a champion which excels at mixing their combos with unexpected throws that deal massive damage. He uses his signature rocket grab as a way to keep enemies in close range

Another LoL support, Braum actually flexes his impressive muscles in 2XKO with a lot of damage and multiple ways to freeze his opponents. Despite excelling at close range, he can throw poros to remain relevant in mid to long distances.

Remaining just as threatening as he's ever been in LoL, Darius uses his giant axe to decimate enemies with long combos that reach farther than you will initially expect. He also retains his classic bleed passive as a chip damage mechanic, slowly ticking your health down even through blocks.

One of the most mobile characters in the 2XKO roster, Ekko uses his manipulation of time and his projectiles to keep opponents on their toes with creative mix-ups and impressively long combos.

Staying true to her infamous style of bullying in LoL, Illaoi brings the same energy to 2XKO with her pesky spectral tentacles. She deals a ton of damage and will keep you holding back as you attempt to block her barrage of suffocating strikes.

The only 2XKO release character who is an ADC in LoL, Jinx is the game's only zoner (so far). This means that she excels at keeping enemies away from her, utilizing her entire arsenal of weapons to frustrate her opponents as they attempt to close the gap.

Vi was always going to be one of 2XKO base characters. She is a brawler with massive punching gloves, after all. She uses her fancy boxer feet to close the gap with a powerful dash which can avoid most attacks in the game, allowing her to punch the air out of her opponents' lungs.

Considered by most the hardest base character in 2XKO, Yasuo players are likely to become as infamous as they are in LoL. The swordsman uses his signature windwall to negate projectiles and his fancy mobility to annihilate enemies from mid range.

Hitboxes in fighting games are extremely important when it comes to balancing, and having a character that is so much smaller than the rest of the roster will bring a lot of different considerations into the fray.
Not much is known about Teemo for now, but we'll update this article as soon as we know more.
