Skins are one of the great joys of Counter-Strike, whether you're someone who enjoys opening cases, collecting rare skins, or just looking good in your pugs, there's something in them for everyone.
Sadly though, skins can be quite expensive, so putting together a themed inventory can be quite difficult. We've already looked at putting together a blue CS2 inventory, but how about a red CS2 inventory?
From the most expensive red skins in CS2 to the cheapest red skins in CS2, we'll how you how you can get a great red themed inventory for around $100 and what you can do if money is limitless.
People love to ask what is the most expensive skin in CS2 history, and although that seems to have been a blue gem AK-47 Case Hardened, that doesn't mean there hasn't been some incredibly pricey red skins, too.
For those who know a lot about skins in Counter-Strike 2, it may come as no surprise that the M4A4 Howl is the most expensive red skin in the game.
The only Contraband grade skin in the game, a Factory New StatTrak version of the skin could cost as much as $20,000, and with the right stickers applied, it could even cost considerable amounts more.
Not everyone has $20,000 lying around, so what about some skins that are far more affordable than that?
Let's now look at making a red themed inventory for Counter-Strike 2, featuring a Glock-18, USP-S, M4, AK-47, and AWP.
When looking for a cheap, red Glock-18 in Counter-Strike 2, there can be no other option than the Glock-18 Water Elemental.
A classic skin, it features a red body with a intertwining blue water spots going down the barrel. A much needed splash of colour, it also doesn't get in the way of sticks should you desire to add them.
Available for $10 for a Factory New version, there is a cheaper alternative in the Glock-18 Candle Apple, but it doesn't have the same shine as the Water Elemental.
For our USP-S offering we're going for another classic skin, the USP-S Cyrex, which was added to CS:GO way back in 2016 as part of the Glove Case.
Available for just $5 for a Factory New version, the Cyrex is a Restricted grade skin that will add a bit more colour to your red CS2 inventory, thanks to the black and white that is part of its design.
There is another cheaper alternative at $1.50 in the USP-S Check Engine, but honestly, that's a pretty ugly skin, so you;d be far better served by a Cyrex.
Keeping with the classic skins, our choice for a cheap red AK-47 skin in CS2 is the AK-47 Redline.
Added in 2014 as part of Operation Phoenix, the AK-47 Redline has been a mainstay of CS players' inventories ever since.
More black than red, you can add more red easily by adding some stickers, and for $36, it's more versatile than the only other alternative, the Orbit Mk01.
For our cheap, red M4 skin, we've decided to go for the M4A4 Tooth Fairy. If you want an M4A1-S, you could match with the USP-S and go with the Cyrex, but we like the variation in the inventory.
The most elaborate design in the inventory so far, the M4A4 Tooth Fairy's design features a skeletal depiction of, you guessed it, the Tooth Fairy.
Available for just $12 Factory New, the Tooth Fairy is a steal for how detailed it is.
Added as part of the Revolution Case in 2023, the Duality is an incredibly clean AWP skin that you can get for $17 Factory New.
With clearly Asian influence in the design, it features reds and golds, creating a uniqueness to finish off the cheap red CS2 inventory.
If you wish, you can go much more expensive with something like an AWP Wildfire, but that will set you back $114 for a Factory New version.
If you buy exclusively Factory New versions of each gun, our cheap red CS2 inventory comes in at around $80, meaning you could even add something like a Desert Eagle Crimson Web to it if you wish.
But what if money is not object? What kind of skins could you buy then?
Let's get crazy.
Honestly, we almost went for the Water Elemental again here. There aren't many options for expensive red Glock-18 skins, but it would also be boring for us to be reptitve.
So, instead, we've decided to go big or go home, and that's landed us on the Glock-18 Fade.
It's not exactly a red skin, but there's red on it, and there can be more dependent on whatever pattern you end up with.
At $1,500, it's a solid start to our expensive red CS2 inventory.
Next up in our expensive red CS2 inventory we have the USP-S Kill Confirmed.
Added to CS:GO as part of the Shadow Case in 2015, it's one of the older skins in either inventory, and that's probably why it will now cost around $293 for a Factory New version.
It's got a lot more red on it than the Glock-18 Fade, and it's a lot cheaper, too.
Let's stay around the same price bracket for our red AK-47 skin and go for the AK-47 Bloodsport, which will cost around $250 for a Factory New version.
There is a far more expensive option in the AK-47 X-Ray, available for $1,500 Factory New, but it's not a nice skin, and the Bloodsport is a classic.
Alternatively, you could also go for the AK-47 Red Laminate at $150, and that will also allow you to go wild with sticker crafts better than the Bloodsport will.
Yeah, of course we're going for the M4A4 Howl for our expensive red CS2 inventory. How could we not?
One of the most iconic skins in Counter-Strike history, everyone wishes to own one, but getting your hands on one can be incredibly difficult.
It looks great with stickers, and it acts as a real status symbol. We've already gone through the insane value of it, so you can now add that onto the tally.
Let's end the expensive red inventory for Counter-Strike 2 on a real banger - the AWP The Prince.
An incredibly expensive AWP skin, a Factory New edition may set you back around $5,000, and that can get even more expensive with the right stickers applied.
An AWP that will rival any in the game, it's flashy and contests with the M4A4 Howl as one of the biggest status symbols in Counter-Strike.
Our expensive red CS2 inventory comes at a whopping $27,000, making it an incredibly expensive inventory to own.
You can't get much pricier than that, but if you want to, you could start adding some expensive knives to your inventory, too.
