Spirit close out BLAST Open Porto win with two dominant map wins over MOUZ

Spirit are the champions of BLAST Open Porto, having gained their revenge on MOUZ for beating them in the final of BLAST Bounty Season 2 2026.

A complete reversal of their previous meeting, where MOUZ won 3-1, Spirit won 3-1 after falling to a comeback on map two, Mirage, and then dominating on both Ancient and Nuke.

The event marks Spirit’s second event win in a row, a feat they haven’t achieved since winning IEM Cologne and BLAST Bounty Season 2 last year.

Spirit dominant despite Mirage comeback loss

Spirit opened up the series on Dust2, and although the series was level at the break, sh1ro came alive in the second half to record a 2.01 rating and closed out the map by winning seven CT rounds with just two replies out of MOUZ.

13-8 when it was all said and done, the sniper topped the scoreboard with 19 kills.

Then, on Mirage, Spirit looked dominant again as they quickly found themselves leading the map 11-4. Their T side was lacklustre, though, and MOUZ managed to hang on to their map pick by the skin of their teeth, with a combined 44 kills from PR and xelex, seeing them extend the tie by at least one more map.

We then headed to Ancient, a map that Spirit have dominated recently, but also where they last lost to MOUZ in the Bounty final.

This map was not like that map.

Ancient was the most dominant of all for Spirit, and MOUZ didn’t stand a chance outside of the three rounds they won. MOUZ were 11-1 down at the break, and although they won a much-needed pistol round, there’s just very little you can do when donk is dropping 23 kills and a 2.32 rating on you.

The woes continued for MOUZ on the following map, Nuke, as Spirit continued their dominance with an 8-4 CT half. sh1ro, donk, and tN1R were all on fire, rounding out the win with relative ease as they took home the trophy at 13-6.
