One of the best things about Counter-Strike 2 is the skins. Unlike in other games, skins can be openly traded between players, offering ways to go from rags to riches and end up having a flashy inventory you're proud to take into your games.
Of course, with skins being a fashion statement of sorts, that leaves players wanting to have nice CS2 inventories.
One such way to get a clean CS2 inventory is to theme your inventory, so in this article, we'll help you do just that.
There's plenty of blue skins in CS2, so we'll start there, and show you how to build a blue skin themed inventory in Counter-Strike 2.
First though, let's start with the most expensive blue skin in Counter-Strike 2.
Many people will expect the most expensive blue skin to be the AWP Gungnir, which can be incredibly pricey and upwards of $10,000. However, the price of the Gungnir pales in comparison to other skins.
Those skins, blue gem Case Hardened skins, are so rare that they're actually almost priceless to Counter-Strike skin collectors. Available on knives and AK-47s, they have sold for upwards of $100,000. In fact, one with an expensive sticker craft once sold for more than $400,000.
Now, we understand $400,000 might be a little out of your price range. And don't worry, it's out of ours too.
So what about some blue CS2 skins that mere mortals can actually afford?
In the next part of our article, we'll put together an inventory featuring a Glock-18, USP-S, M4, AK-47, and AWP that will cost around $100, allowing you to have a blue CS2 inventory that will look great in game.
By no means a flashy skin, the Glock-18 Bunsen Burner is one of the cheapest blue skins in CS2.
A flat blue with a blue flame close to the barrel, it can easily be dressed up with stickers and will only set the player back around $2 for a Factory New version.
We'd consider that a bargain.
Other options include the Blue Fissure, which is much more expensive at $22 for Factory New, or the Water Elemental, which, while having a mostly red body, does feature a clean water design that has enough blue on it for us to consider it.
One of the newer skins in CS2, the USP-S Alpine Camo was added in 2024 as part of the Sport & Field Collection.
A classic military camo-style skin, the USP-S Alpine Camo is suited for arctic warfare, so it's a shame de_austria isn't in CS2.
A Factory New version will cost you just under $6, making it an absolute steal. That's also $5 cheaper than a Factory New USP-S Guardian, which is an older and more boring blue USP-S skin in CS2.
A skin that looks great with stickers applied, the AK-47 Ice Coaled is one of the best, cheap AK-47 skins in Counter-Strike 2.
It's clean design features a light blue near the stock, which fades into a more green colour as it reaches the barrel.
Available for just $20 dollars for a Factory New version, it's far cheaper than alternatives like the AK-47 Frontside Misty, which will cost closer to $90 for a Factory New.
After a recent update to CS2, the M4A4's stock is rising rapidly. For that reason, we'll be going for an M4A4 for our cheap blue-themed CS2 inventory.
The skin we have chosen is the M4A4 Desolate Space, which is a classic skin in Counter-Strike that was added way back in CS:GO with the Gamma Case.
Featuring a design that is reflective of space and also features a skull, it's got plenty of detail for you to be distracting yourself with when the T side executes on your bombsite.
Available for $40 Factory New, it's a worthwhile investment for your CS2 inventory that is likely to get more expensive as the years go on.
Pushing us over the $100 mark is the AWP Corticera, a cheap blue AWP skin that was added to CS:GO in the eSports 2014 Summer Case - making it one of the first skins added to the game.
It's age is reflected within it's price, making it something of a collectors' item in 2025. It will now set you back $60 for a Factory New version a value that has risen dramatically in the last few years.
It's not the flashiest skin in the world, and there are cheaper alternatives like the Sun in Leo at $50, but either of those is much more preferable than spending $10,000 on a Gungnir.
Our cheap blue inventory in CS2 will cost you around $120 if you're exclusively buying Factory New versions of each skin.
Of course, you don't need Factory New, and you can definitely get it under $100 by getting Minimal Wear and Field-Tested versions of the skins.
Now let's have some fun and imagine that money is no object. What skins would we be buying if we had unlimited funds?
There aren't actually many expensive blue Glock-18 skins in Counter-Strike 2, but a really nice one was added fairly recently with the Sport & Field Collection.
That skin is the Glock-18 AXIA, a black and blue design that features a slightly glittery finish.
It's a clean design that will look great with stickers applied, easily allowing you to add some value if you happen to have a couple of Titan holos lying around.
It also costs $114 for a Factory New version, which frighteningly makes it one of the cheaper skins in this inventory - but not the cheapest.
For the USP-S skin we've managed to find one even cheaper, the USP-S Royal Blue.
A classic skin that is part of the Cobblestone Collection, it's value has increased due to Cobblestone being out of the map pool, so it's safe to assume it's value will continue to increase over time as that map is never coming back.
We hope.
Available for around $80 for a Factory New version right now, like the AXIA, it will look great with stickers applied.
Now, we could've gone much more expensive with this one. If we were trying to build the most expensive CS2 inventory, we might have said the $400,000 Case Hardened we mentioned before, or perhaps even the AK-47 Vulcan for a crisp 1k, but we've gone down a different route.
Instead, our suggestion is the AK-47 Inheritance, a skin that is bound to be a long-term investment for anyone who buys one.
Added in the Kilowatt Case, the first case to be introduced to CS2, the AK-47 Inheritance looks like fine china, and will cost you just $270 for a Factory New version.
We say just, that's still a lot, it's just a lot less than the alternatives.
Although our cheap blue CS2 inventory featured an M4A4, our expensive blue CS2 inventory will have an M4A1-S, the Blue Phosphor.
Costing a cool $1,000, the Blue Phosphor was added to CS:GO in 2020 and features a shiny blue design. It also looks great when stickers are added to it, especially gold signatures if you want to continue to flaunt your wealth.
A choice for the M4A4 would be the Poseidon, which will set you back a further $700 at $1,700 for Factory New.
What else could we say than the AWP Gungnir? Sure, the AWP Medusa may exist, but it doesn't hold a candle to the Norse-inspired beauty that is the Gungnir.
Featuring a sleek design that represents Viking runes, the AWP Gungnir shares it's name with the spear of Odin, the king of the Norse gods.
The AWP Gungnir is so rare and expensive that it is never sold on the Steam Market, and only on third party sites like Skinbid. It can cost anywhere between $10,000-$15,000, making the total value of this inventory eye-watering.
Our expensive blue themed CS2 inventory will likely cost you a whopping $15,000, and that's likely a minimum. It could cost closer to $20,000, and that depends solely on the value of the Gungnir you pick up.
