BLAST Open Rotterdam is now right around the corner, and it’s time to reveal the opening matches for the event.
The event will get underway on March 18th, with 12 invited teams and four qualified teams heading to the BLAST studios in Copenhagen to do battle for a chance to head to Rotterdam, The Netherlands and fight for the lion’s share of the $1,100,000 prize pool.
Headlining the event are the usual suspects in Vitality, MOUZ, FURIA, and Falcons, whilst massive underdogs like NRG, TYLOO, and 9z will all also be making an appearance.
Plus, given the fact that the current reigning Open champions, G2, fell outside of the invite range, a new BLAST Open champion will be crowned.
So who will the new victors have to face first?

All times are listed in CEST. Games will be on a rolling start, meaning that there will be 40 minutes between each series. However, game three can not start more than 30 minutes before its scheduled start time. That means the earliest start will be 16:30.

There’s plenty of excitement to be had about the opening matches.
NIP have looked dangerous thus far with cairne, but their limited time together had held them back in their closest games. Now that they’ve had more time, will they be able to push past BLAST Bounty Season One champions PARIVISION?
The MongolZ have also looked deadly at PGL Cluj-Napoca, with cobrazera beginning to step into Senzu’s shoes. They have a tough opponent in MOUZ to kick things off, so can they cause an upset?
Also, TYLOO will be their first international appearance in 2026 during BLAST Open Rotterdam, so how will they fare now that they have Zero in place of Attacker? They couldn’t ask for many harder opening matches than one with FURIA, but the explosiveness of their star trio of Jee, JamYoung, and Moseyuh could be enough to see them grab a huge underdog win.
