It's easy to lose track of who isn't on a team when there's so many teams playing every single day.
There are players who are benched who make teams of their own, like the French team Looking4Org (who don't make the list because, well, they're on a team of some sort. Get them an org!) and players who seem to have everything lined up, but nothing confirmed.
For that reason, we've put the prospective TSM team and the 00NATION team under one umbrella.
The obvious choice on the list, degster is one of the most talented AWPers in the world.
That's not even an overstatement - at his peak he was a star on a Major playoffs team, consistently putting up incredible numbers on Team Spirit and showing off on OG after that.
Few AWPers can be as consistent as he is while being as aggressive, and it's this mix of dangerous late-round AWPing and destructive early-round AWPing that make him one of the deadliest AWPers in the world.
Amid a controversial departure from Into the Breach, it's easy to lose sight of how good NEOFRAG was on SINNERS.
His step-up to OG proved to be ill-fated, and the move to ITB clearly didn't go as anyone planned, but there's clearly talent there. SINNERS were constantly taking on and competing with big teams, and NEOFRAG was the stand-out player.
If you can tame him, NEOFRAG will be a dangerous player somewhere.
buster was replaced by Perfecto on Cloud9's exodia roster, but that shouldn't be used as a mark against buster. Very few players are better than Perfecto!
buster is a calming influence, capable of taking the tough roles and facilitating the flashier players to do their thing. He stood in for Cloud9 and helped get them to the playoffs in Cologne, and clearly can still hang with the big boys.
syrsoN has become significantly underrated by the general public; his unwillingness to buy assault rifles has made people not realise quite how dangerous his sniping is - not just with the AWP, but with the Scout.
If anything, his unwillingness to rifle is admirable.
At his peak there are genuinely few better than syrsoN, but his rigidness makes him an unusual player. It does make him a fun project to build around, though.
The only five-time winner of CSGO Majors is on the market, sort of.
TSM are - or were - rumoured to be picking up dupreeh to complete their team, but recent rumours suggest that might not be finalised. dupreeh is playing with the team in qualifiers, but could still be picked up.
He is the pick of the bunch - one of, if not the, most successful players in CSGO history, dupreeh's experience, knowledge and timeless first bullet accuracy remain invaluable to any team.
Former NIP player phzy seemed to go off the radar as Sangal faded away from the top tier, but the team's improvement with the Swede's addition is undoubtable.
A clever player, phzy is capable of being a supportive AWPer or mixing it up and getting his hands dirty when the situation requires it.
Being Swedish, too, means his English is flawless - an important point to make with international teams being so in vogue.
BIG's academy AWPer stepped in for IEM Cologne and can be proud of his performance. Thrown in on a team that wasn't setting the world alight beforehand, his energy and aggression endeared him to the public.
As a player, his talent is obvious. He's a little raw, but under the right IGL he could pop off.
Love him or hate him, MSL has had a career of ups and downs that few can match. He's won events and shaped excellent players throughout the years, and though his career has gone wayward recently, that can happen.
karrigan ended up on Envy, Snappi went quiet for a while... IGLs can lose their way, but they never lose their brain.
MSL is still a player with plenty to offer, especially if you can give him some serious talent.
Another player who has lost his way, Brehze's career stalled after he hit some incredible heights in 2019.
Once the bane of Astralis even at the height of their powers, Brehze seems to have petered out - but class is permanent, and there's still that tier one player in there somewhere.
Nobody who was that good could completely lose it - and surely Brehze has it in him to get back to a genuinely good level.
The AWPer who helped TheMongolz (then IHC) to their first taste of giant slaying, Annihilation was moved on for 910 despite his impressive showing.
He isn't the most aggressive early round AWPer, but he showed himself to be ice cold in the clutch and showed up internationally, even if his domestic form wasn't the best.
