Have you ever been playing Football Manager and thought to yourself "Wow, I'd love to have this for Counter-Strike"? If so, then Esports Manager 2025 is the game for you.
A project currently in it's alpha stage, access to the alpha was dished out this week, and we were part of the lucky few that managed to get their hands on it.
In this article, we'll tell you everything you need to know about Esports Manager 2025, when it releases, who made it, and the type of gameplay you will experience.
For fans of the Football Manager series, Esports Manager will be a very familiar experience. But for those who are not, allow us to tell you what to expect.
At its core, Esports Manager 2025 is a managerial simulation game. Think of Truck Simulator, but instead of crashing an eighteen-wheeler into oncoming traffic, you're instead running your favourite esports organisation into the ground with your terrible management.
This means you will advance through the Counter-Strike calendar, training your players, benching under-performers, and guiding them through tournaments in hope of lifting gold at the end of them.
Made by Neurona Games, it's the first installment in the franchise, so, as is to be expected, there will be kinks to iron out, but just like the F1 Manager series, it's starting off at a very solid point.
With the alpha releasing in March 2025, a more accessible beta for Esports Manager 2025 is expected to release sometime in August or September.
However, if you're asking when Esports Manager 2025 will release, then it looks like you're going to have to wait a little longer.
Currently expected to release in December, the full game is a long way away, and some of the best games of 2025 will release between now and then.
If you're looking for frequent updates on Esports Manager 2025 gameplay, then the best place to look is on the official Twitter account.
They post plenty of exciting looks at the game, like this run through of how you can control the rounds your team play out.
In addition to controlling the games, it will also be up to you to train your players. There are three categories of attributes to train, which are as follows:
These attributes can be trained by various staff members, with the differing roles able to train each category. The staff roles are:
When selecting a staff member to coach a specific player, that staff member can then coach three attributes within the category. In the image below, you'll see that the coach has been chosen to coach Spinx's three weakest attributes within the database: Grenades, Creativity, and Tactic.
For a full look at the attributes in the game, check out the image below.
In addition to coaching your players, you can also help them by buying new equipment for them. Within the alpha, you are tasked with buying new keyboards and chairs for your team.
The final important aspect of the game is scouting and signing players. Each player has a current ability and a potential ability, allowing you to sign players that will grow into stars for your team.
Although Esports Manager 2025 is only in its alpha stage, it shows all the potential to be a great game within its genre.
When Esports Manager 2025 releases in December, pick it up and show how you can run your favourite organisation better than whoever you are currently blaming for its downfall.
