Escape From Tarkov: Number Temporarily Unavailable Task Guide
Battlestate Games released the first major update post Kordbreach with the rework of Lighthouse. While the changes weren’t significant, they did bring us new quests.
We’ve already covered Fog of War, which directly leads to Number Temporarily Unavailable. Here is our quick guide for this new Escape From Tarkov task.
Number Temporarily Unavailable Walkthrough
One of the most noticeable changes that the rework brought to Lighthouse is a complete change in the location of Prapor’s camp. That is not only relevant to the main story via the Batya chapter, it is also relevant to this task.
Number Temporarily Unavailable requires you to head to the new location of Prapor’s camp, on top of the rocky area right by the Southern Road extraction. Once you reach the top, you’ll find a new wooden ramp leading to the camp.
That’s not all, though, you need to stash 7 items in the western-most edge of the camp. The items are:
- 3x Capacitators
- 1x Military Cable
- 3x Electronic Components
If you have the Edge of Darkness, Unheard edition, or the Kappa container, this is a zero risk task. You can place all items in your secure container and still have one slot free for a medical item, for example.
Those with standard accounts, though, will need to risk losing their items. Leave the Capacitators out as they’re the cheapest and easiest to find. Once you’re ready to get into the raid, see where you spawn. If you spawned on the northern edge of the map, tough luck, you need to cross the entire thing.
This leaves you with three options:
- Play an extremely slow raid where you loot the train station and the safer areas and make your way south through the beach late into the raid.
- Try to find a safe spot to wait for the BTR.
- Reset and go again by extracting via Path to Shoreline or the car extraction.
If you’re lucky, you’ll spawn by the Southern Road extract and be able to complete the mission immediately. The task itself is quite simple: just climb on the rocks by the extract, look for the wooden bridge and go the western edge of the camp until you find the spot that allows you to place the items. Place them all and the task will be complete, no extraction required.
