Escape From Tarkov: Fog of War Task Guide
The Lighthouse rework brought with it some new, temporary (according to BSG’s patch notes) tasks. The most profitable questline is the one that starts with our friend Prapor.
Here is our Escape From Tarkov Fog of War task guide to get you started on a questline that will make you rich.
Fog of War Walkthrough
While theoretically quite simple, Fog of War actually is an extremely tough task to complete, especially at the moment. Prapor asks you to visit three separate areas, all inside the Water Treatment Plant.
These are:
- Any of the rooftops of the three main Water Treatment Plant buildings.
- The guard tower close to the entrance.
- The BRDM car by the northern building of the Water Treatment Plant.
You need to do these in a single raid and then extract. Why are we describing this as extremely tough? While the Rogues have indeed left the Plant, it is now being occupied by a 100% spawn chance Glukhar and his guards.
Not only is that a huge problem by itself, it is absolutely crawling with high level players doing their quests and hunting the boss. All three positions you need to hit to complete this task are exposed, so you will have to take it slow.
If you spawn on the northern side of the map we recommend you loot around the Water Treatment Plant, like in the train station. Be thorough and make sure to delay your movement towards the plant. Spawning around the Southern Road extraction is ideal. You can take your time looting everything and then just grab the newly-added BTR to safely drop you off by the plant.
Once you arrive, we recommend you follow this exact order of plans:
- Hit the guardpost first. It is the one on the southeastern edge of the Plant. Just walk close to it until you see the subtask complete pop-up.
- With that done, run towards the Building 1 stairs. Climb them and be sure to jump once you reach the barbed wire. Run around the rooftop until you see the subtask completed. Take a chance to see if there is anyone around the middle of the area (make sure to never stand still).
- Go down the stairs, jumping the barbed wire again, and run towards the BRDM car in the northern side of the middle of the plant. Approaching it will complete the final subtask.
- With all these done, just extract. If you have money you can try the car extract. If it is late into the raid wait for the train. And that’s how you complete Fog of War in Escape From Tarkov!
