The initial phase of BLAST Slam IV has wrapped up, with six teams securing their spots at the LAN event in Singapore. These teams will now head to the iconic Singapore Indoor Stadium to compete for the coveted trophy in front of a live audience.
Let’s take a look at how things unfolded over the past week:
Tundra Esports and Team Falcons were the first teams to directly qualify for the BLAST Slam IV: Singapore semi finals. By finishing in the top two of the group stage, both teams secured their spots for the LAN portion of the event.
Thanks to their exceptional gameplay, firm grasp of the meta, and deep understanding of the game, Tundra Esports and Team Falcons stayed one step ahead of other teams throughout the first phase of the tournament.
Both teams ended up with a similar score of 9 wins and 2 losses, but Tundra’s head-to-head win against Falcons gave them the top spot in the standings.

Team Liquid and BetBoom Team won in the Last Chance Playoffs, advancing to the Play-In stage for another shot at qualifying for the LAN phase of the tournament.
Team Liquid’s series against Yakult Brothers went all the way to the last game, but they managed to pull through against the formidable Chinese team. It was quite evident that Liquid’s new roster, despite its strength on paper, is still trying to figure out its playstyle.
On the other hand, BetBoom Team demolished Execration in successive games to secure themselves a spot in the Play In stage. The skill gap between both teams was quite evident, especially in the second game, which ended in 25 minutes.
That said, Yakult Brothers and Execration were the first teams to get eliminated from BLAST Slam IV: Singapore.
@dota2ti | XThe Play In phase kicked off right after the Last Chance Playoffs concluded, with eight teams fighting for the final four spots for BLAST Slam IV: Singapore. It kicked off with MOUZ vs Team Aureus and Aurora Gaming vs Natus Vincere.
MOUZ successfully stopped Aureus from advancing further into the tournament with back-to-back wins. Aureus was the last remaining hope for Southeast Asia, and unfortunately, we won’t be witnessing a SEA team perform in Singapore. As a result, MOUZ has qualified for the LAN portion of BLAST Slam IV Singapore.
Aurora Gaming faced off against Natus Vincere in a thrilling best-of-three series. After losing the first game, Aurora held their ground against NAVI’s onslaught in a marathon 73-minute second game. Despite being on the back foot for much of the game, they pulled off an exciting win to level the series, and head to the decider.
The third game saw Nightfall single-handedly carrying the game for Aurora on an unstoppable Medusa. He managed a 1000 GPM on Medusa, and was more than fully-slotted, including a Divine Rapier. NAVI weren’t able to capitalize on its draft, unlike Aurora, who played around Nightfall and allowed him to become the star carry of the game.
Thus, Aurora Gaming secured their LAN spot for Singapore, while NAVI’s journey came to an end.
MOUZ SeleriHEROIC faced Team Liquid in the third series, while the fourth and final series saw Team Spirit face off against BetBoom Team. HEROIC secured a series win over Team Liquid in back-to-back games, though they faced a tough challenge in the second game, which lasted 70 minutes. Yuma stole the show on Anti Mage, clocking 1000 GPM, and ensured HEROIC qualified for the LAN in Singapore.
Team Spirit defeated BetBoom Team in a relatively fast-paced best-of-three series that went the full distance. They took the first game in under 30 minutes but dropped the second game to BetBoom, thus forcing a decider.
However, Spirit quickly recouped from their second-game loss and dominated BetBoom in the third game, wrapping it up in just 31 minutes. The series clearly highlighted BetBoom’s struggle with understanding of the meta, while Team Spirit snagged the last remaining spot for BLAST Slam IV: Singapore LAN.
The final six teams heading to the LAN portion of BLAST Slam IV Singapore have been determined with the culmination of the Group Stage, Last Chance Playoffs and the Play In stage. These six teams will fight for the coveted trophy and a million dollars in prize pool.
The final list of teams heading to BLAST Slam IV Singapore are:
As previously mentioned, Tundra Esports and Team Falcons have secured a spot directly in the semi finals. The remaining teams will start their run from the quarterfinals and must fight their way up from there. The playoffs will follow a single-elimination format, meaning every series will result in an elimination until the winner is determined.
The competition resumes on November 7, 2025, at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in little under three weeks. Until then, stay tuned to our socials for the latest tournament updates and features.
