PGL Wallachia Season 2 teams are locked in following the conclusion of the regional qualifiers. 16 teams are set to battle for supremacy in PGL's flagship Dota 2 event in Bucharest, Romania.
Here’s the list of all teams who have qualified for PGL Wallachia Season 2 through direct invites and the closed qualifiers:
As evident, the reigning Season 1 champions Team Spirit (EEU), Team Liquid (WEU), Team Falcons (WEU), Tundra Esports (WEU), Cloud9 (WEU), Xtreme Gaming (CN), G2.iG (CN), Heroic (SA), nouns (NA), PSG Quest (MENA) have received direct invites to the events.
The remaining Dota 2 teams had to undergo gruelling qualifiers in their respective regions and qualify for PGL Wallachia Season 2. Azure Ray, Blacklist International and Apex Genesis qualified for the event through the China, Southeast Asia and North America qualifiers respectively.
Similarly, Avulus, L1GA Team and Team Waska qualified for PGL Wallchia Season 2 through the WEU, EEU and SA qualifiers respectively.
PGL Wallachia Season 2 will be held in Bucharest, Romania from October 4th to October 13th, 2024. The event will be held behind closed doors at the PGL Studios and won't be accessible to a live audience.
The absence of Gaimin Gladiators, the Season 1 runner-up, from both the direct invite list and the qualifiers has sparked speculation about the team's participation in the event.
