Blacklist International, also known as Blacklist Rivalry, has qualified for the PGL Wallachia Season 2 through the Southeast Asian (SEA) qualifiers. Defying the odds, they registered this victory with two stand-ins – Mac and Raven.
Mac and Raven stepped in for Blacklist International's core duo, Abed and Gabbi, who were unavailable due to undisclosed reasons. The dynamic pair proved instrumental in guiding the team to victory amid challenging circumstances and snagging the lone SEA for the PGL Wallachia Season 2.
Blacklist received a forfeit in their opening series against SF Pos 4 as one player failed to show up on time. They defeated Bruv123 in the next round to qualify for the upper bracket finals, however, they ended up losing to skem&friends and got knocked to the lower bracket.
They faced Bruv123 in the lower bracket finals and defeated them yet again. Marching on to the grand final, Blacklist were prepared to face their nemesis, skem&friends, for a rematch. The best-of-five grand final became a hunting ground for Blacklist players as they dominated their enemies with ease.
Blacklist International secured their spot in Bucharest, Romania, after a hard-fought 3-1 victory over skem's stack. Despite losing the second game, they quickly regained momentum to dominate the next two and claim the series.
As the sole Southeast Asian representative at the DOTA 2 PGL Wallachia Season 2, Blacklist will fly the region's flag after no other SEA teams received direct invites to the tournament.
The action continues with the WEU and EEU qualifiers with only one spot being up for grabs. Stay tuned to BLAST for the latest PGL Wallachia Season 2 news updates.
