Apex Genesis secured their spot at PGL Wallachia Season 2 after a dominant performance in the North American qualifiers. The team cruised through the early rounds, sweeping both The Hut and Grin Esports 2-0.
Their grand final matchup against asdf started evenly with each team winning a game. However, Apex Genesis ultimately prevailed, winning the next two games to clinch the 3-1 victory and joined Nouns as North America's second representative at the event.
By securing a spot in the main event, Apex Genesis will have the opportunity to compete against some of the best Dota 2 players in the world and prove their worth on the international stage.
PGL Wallachia Season 2 is set to be one of the most prestigious Dota 2 tournaments of the year, boasting a substantial prize pool of $1 million and a stacked lineup of top-tier teams.
As the regional qualifiers for the event come to a close, it should be noted that this event will take place after The International 2024 (TI13). While the teams invited and qualified might remain the same, significant roster changes are expected due to the post-TI roster shuffle.
