How to play Rocket League Fantasy - Worlds 2025

RLCS Champs 2025 is just around the corner!

And that means one thing. It's time for the BLAST.tv Worlds Fantasy.

If you're joining us for the first time, head on over to Rocket League Fantasy, and let us explain how things work.

Rocket League Fantasy is a mini-game, in which your goal is to pick the best pro Rocket League player roster, that would score you the highest amount of points throughout the tournament.

How do I pick a team?

There are 3 tiers of players to pick from, and 1 team to pick, as well as a Captain pick which grants a point multiplier to the selected player.

Team Selection Rules

1. Pick one player from each tier
   • Diamond (1.2× multiplier)
   • Platinum (1.6× multiplier)
   • Gold (2.0× multiplier)
2. Restrictions
   • You may only select one player per real-world team.
   • You may only select one player per tier.
3. Captain Selection
   • Choose one captain from your three players.
   • Your captain’s score receives the multiplier shown for their tier.

Rocket League Fantasy Team Pick

How does scoring work?

Player scoring:

Players will be ranked based on their performance after each series. The performance is based on our custom G.A.S formula.

2xGoals + Assists + Saves/2 = Player score

After each series, players are ranked 1st through 6th based on this score.

• 1st - 100 Points
• 2nd - 80 Points
• 3rd - 60 Points
• 4th - 40 Points
• 5th - 20 Points
• 6th - 0 Points

Team scoring:

Game Wins: 20 pts per game won

• Example: A 4–3 result gives 80 pts to the winner and 60 pts to the loser.

Sweep Bonus: +20 pts for winning without dropping a game.Invincible Stage

Bonus: +100 pts for going undefeated in a stage (3–0).

Rocket League Fantasy Rules

The RLCS World Championship 2025 Fantasy in Lyon, France, will be split into 2 stages.

• Stage 1: Play-Ins
• Stage 2: Main Stage (Group Stage + Playoffs)

This means that you will need to choose your Fantasy team twice, once for the Play-Ins, and then for the Main Stage before it begins.

You can also choose a team once the stage begins; however, you will not receive any points for the already played matches.

Are there different types of Leagues?

Upon locking in your team, you are automatically entered in the '2025 Season' Global League, and the Event League, where you can check how you rank against others.
