Shrouded Sky brings a hurricane to the Rust Belt, updating ARC Raiders with new enemies, a new major map condition, new quests, and a new project.

Here is everything you need to know about one of the largest updates that Embark has released so far, live on February 24th.
This new map condition will affect every map and bring changes on the level that we saw with Cold Snap. Strong winds will change how your projectiles work and how much stamina you consume while running. If you’re running with the wind on your back, you’ll be faster and consume less stamina. Running into the wind, though, will slow you down and drain stamina faster.
Debris will be flying randomly. Getting hit by it will damage your shield, weakening it and making you visible to other raiders, even in low visibility scenarios. Bring more Shield Recharges than usual.
Similarly with the Unearthed Caches condition, Shrouded Sky’s Hurricane will reveal Caches, but these are from the First Waves, containing more valuable items than usual.
We’ll give you more information about this project once we have access to it. You’ll need to contribute specific materials, as usual, and hopefully it will be less disappointing than the most recent project Embark added to ARC Raiders.

Two new clankers will be around to ruin your day topside. The Firefly is a pesky armored robot with a flamethrower. Imagine a fusion between a Fireball and a Hornet.
The Comet is the Pop’s older, meaner brother. Unlike its sibling, the Comet roams outside, likely bringing with it a much bigger explosion when he manages to get close to you.
Shrouded Sky also brings a new Free Raider Deck (there are no Premium Raider Decks yet, but they’re coming eventually). Completing it will give you an appropriately creepy medical outfit.
Additionally, you’ll also be able to unlock an impressive Full Beard, and a couple new Cosmetic Bundles available in the shop.
Lastly, Dam Battlegrounds is getting a new high value loot area, “The Controller Access Zone”.
