The much anticipated Dota 2 Crownfall Act III: The Frosts of Icewrack is finally released after a slight delay in the classic Valve way.
The Crownfall Act III comes with an entirely new overworld map daunted with mysteries, “no small number of monsters,” snow and one hell of a barroom brawl. Act III continues the Crownfall saga with its new intro comic titled – The Dragon – following the adventures of Shen and her allies as they navigate the Frosts of Icewrack.
Crownfall Act III also introduces the Crownfall Collector’s Cache, featuring 16 of the highest-rated sets from the last community vote. The logic is simple: Valve spoils us into emptying our wallets and purchasing more hats.
Hats off, Valve!
Crownfall Act III also introduces Sleet Fighter – a Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat-esque styled mini-game to Dota 2.
Pick your fighter from a roster of five heroes and brawl for rewards, or even better, challenge one of your friends and humiliate them. All you need to do is visit the Severed Head to… well severe some heads, duh!
Be prepared to experience the game in full throttle as it’s available in Fullscreen mode and is controller supported. But did you know, this game was 10 years in the making? Well, we did.
Now flash your in-game items in style, win or lose with vigour and fashion, showcasing your prolific rare, very rare, ultra-rare and cosmically rare items. In short, win or lose, doesn’t matter. What matters is that you do it in style.
Big wardrobe heroes like Juggernaut and Pudge now have a new slot - Hero Base- that will allow you to continue using the Arcana's effects without compromising on fashion.
Pretty fancy, eh?
