The second day of BLAST Slam IV: Singapore has concluded, and both Team Falcons and Tundra Esports have already surpassed their competitors, and it’s likely that the lead will remain intact as the group stage nears its end.
Team Falcons have picked up right where they left off following their win at The International 2025. They look in sublime touch, having shaken off the slight rust from the post-TI break, and aren’t showing signs of slowing down anytime soon.
Similarly, Tundra Esports is showing early signs of a boom. Pure’s return, and Ari’s addition, seemed to have solidified the team’s strength, but it’s too early to draw any conclusion. They are jointly tied in first place with Team Falcons so far into the group stage.
Both teams have secured six wins, and one loss each, with Falcons dropping a game against HEROIC, and Tundra against Aurora Gaming. With four more best-of-ones remaining, it’ll be interesting to see which of the two pulls ahead, and if both teams manage to hold onto the top two spots, a direct ticket to the semifinals is all but guaranteed.
Team Liquid's struggles at BLAST Slam events continue, as their newly formed roster fails to gain any real momentum in the tournament. Despite having a strong roster on paper, their coordination remains shaky, and it appears that the team is most likely headed to the Last Chance Playoff. They are the only European team languishing in tenth place, while their compatriots currently sit in the top eight.
Speaking of which, other European teams are having a decent field day at BLAST Slam IV. Aurora, Natus Vincere and Team Spirit are currently tied in third place alongside HEROIC, the lone South American warrior standing strong amid all the chaos and competition.
BetBoom Team and MOUZ are currently tied in seventh place, but the situation might not remain the same, given how close the competition is brewing between 3rd to 8th position. With four more games remaining, the rankings are bound to change and things are about to get very exciting.
@dota2ti | X, HEROIC KJSoutheast Asia (SEA) and China are the biggest underperformers at BLAST Slam IV. While Team Aureus is standing neck-to-neck against the European teams in the top eight, and has a good chance to qualify to the play-in stage, Execration and Yakult Brothers, in all likelihood, are headed to the Last Chance Playoff.
Things seem to be falling apart for both Execration and Yakult, and the situation is unlikely to change with the huge mountain of losses that have already piled up over their heads. The next two days are extremely crucial for all teams, given the current dynamics of the tournament.
Which two teams will punch their tickets directly to the semifinals? Which teams are heading to the Play In and the Last Chance Playoff? Stay tuned to BLAST to find out!
