Vitality have become the champions of ESL Pro League Season 21 after destroying MOUZ 3-0 in the final.
The second Pro League win for the organisation, they previously won Season 16 after taking down Liquid 3-2 back in 2022, their first of many event wins after the online era.
Winning Pro League also means that Vitality now have three notches towards the Intel Grand Slam, putting them in pole position and within touching distance of claiming Season 5 and the million dollar reward.
The final ended up being about as one-sided as you will ever see. A clean sweep for the French organisation, they made incredibly light work of MOUZ as each member of their team got 42 kills or more.
The first map was by far the closest, a 13-9 on Dust2. Featuring a strong 21-14 performance by flameZ, he outshone his compatriot and former teammate Spinx as Vitality put themselves in a strong position off the back of a 9-3 CT side.
The following two maps, Nuke and Inferno, ended 13-4 and 13-5. MOUZ were never really in either map, the entirety of Vitality ensured that they wouldn't be going home empty-handed.
Vitality were in strong form throughout the entire event, continuing their momentum from their win at IEM Katowice. They lost just two maps during their time at Pro League, to MIBR and The MongolZ.
Now truly staking a claim to being the best team in the world following the addition of ropz, Vitality will take home $100,000, $150,000 in club share, and ZywOo's 22nd MVP award of his career as well as yet another trophy for their cabinet.
Their next event will be BLAST Open Lisbon, which is set to begin on Wednesday March 19th, 2025. An event with a $400,000 prizepool, Voo has already selected them as one of his favourites for the event.
