Although GamerLegion may have struggled in the second half of 2025, PR was undoubtedly one of the rookies of the year.
The former MOUZ NXT man announced himself as a real star for the team throughout the year, and now that the rumours of changes are behind them, he's looking to push on and become a playoff contender team once more.
At the playoffs for BLAST Bounty Season 1 2026, we spoke to the youngster about just that, as well as his new IGL, Snax, and the luck that GamerLegion will need to defeat a team like Vitality.
There were a lot of rumours over the Winter break, was that a big distraction to you whilst you were trying to have the break and then prepare for this season?
I wouldn't say it was distracting, or that there was even big rumours, we just lost ash and then Snax came in. With ash it was surprising to me, and with ztr as well, but it was nothing that deep.
How has it been working with a new coach and a new IGL if it was unexpected for you?
Yeah, I didn't expect this type of change, for sure. It's different. But so far it's working, so far that's good, but I just need to get used to it and we can hopefully get some good results.
What are the difference between ztr and Snax as IGLs?
I think Snax likes to be more in charge. He likes to... I don't mean this in a bad way, but he's just more bossy.

In the server, yeah [laughs]. He's a super nice guy, really funny, really friendly. I really like him, so I'm looking forward to working together.
Given that it's so early in your career, do you think it's a good thing to have someone who is a bit more hands on and micromanaging in terms of IGLing?
I think it can only help me, I don't see any reason why it can be a bad thing.
Last year was your rookie year in tier one, are you happy with it?
The first half of the year was really good, I was really happy with it. The second half, though, it wasn't that good. We didn't have the best results. I'm happy individually, but it could be better and still can be, so I need to work hard.
There were struggles throughout the year with AWPers on the team, why do you think that happened?
I don't know, honestly.
Was it maybe something to do with the system that meant you weren't playing for the AWPer enough and it became a limiting factor for the player?
It's possible, and I don't want to speak for them, but I feel like they could do whatever they wanted to do if they had a call.
In terms of this year, how do you want to build on that rookie year?
I just want to get higher in the VRS so we can play tier one events, that's the goal for now. Hitting playoffs in the first half of the year would be good, too.
Is that playoffs consistently, or will once be a win?
I think we need to see where we're going to be. It's too short of a time to say we should do it consistently, so we need to get some results and judge it from there.
You began the event against Passion UA, and although you struggled in map one, the rest of the game seemed quite comfortable. What's your verdict on that result?
I don't really remember it, to be honest, but yeah, outside of Dust we were in control of the game. It was quite easy, in my humble opinion.
You then played Aurora, a team there's a lot of conversation about from analysts right now, what's your opinion of them from playing against them?
Last time we played Aurora we got smacked 13-1, 13-1, so they're always hard to play. The win was surprising considering our amount of practice, so I was happy we got it.
PR says that ash's decision to step down was unexpected. Photo: Stephanie LindgrenThat was a strong series for you as well, so are you happy to begin the year with a performance like that? Does it give confidence after the end of last year?
I'm not sure it was that good of a performance, so thank you. It is nice, though, but I could've done better, so there's not too much confidence from it, but it's still good.
You should be kinder to yourself, you popped off on Inferno.
That's only one map, though.
Mirage was solid, too. But anyway, how is it preparing for the playoffs when you don't know who you will play?
I think we expect to play Vitality, so I'm not sure what the coaches are doing right now, but I'm sure they're preparing.
And how would you feel about playing them?
Well, they're the best team in the world, so it's hard to tell. We'll try our best, and maybe with some amount of luck we might beat them.
When you're playing a team as good as them, do you need that luck? You can't just shoot through them or prepare that well? You just need ZywOo to have an off day or for them to miss some smokes?
Yeah, for sure. It would be the best case if ZywOo did have a day off, especially because we've only practiced for a week. It'll be a tough match, but maybe if ZywOo isn't sleeping well, maybe we have a better chance then.
Have you considered letting off some fireworks outside the hotel? It's what football fans do.
I hadn't actually, I'll have to talk to management about that.
You mentioned only having a week of practice, which isn't a lot of time considering the map pool is changing and there's so many events, so how do you actually get the practice time in and feel developed with a new IGL?
I think it's normal to have this little practice with a new roster, but I also think the official games will speed up our process. Maybe we'll lose a bit, but it'll help us improve faster.
