Did you miss any of the weekends Counter-Strike action?
Well then, it's a good thing we've put together this recap for you.
After MOUZ fell in the opening round, there was an expectation that no more big teams would have their heads hunted in the second round, but as always, you should expect the unexpected.
Let's take a look at what went down.
We began with a huge head falling as HEROIC eliminated Liquid with a 2-1 win.
Another bounty collected for the new HEROIC team, they continued to build faith in their time together as a unit. Sadly though, that unit will be interrupted for the next round, as tN1R could not secure a visa in time. Maden will instead play in his place.
Another head rolled in the next game, paiN took down FaZe in a huge 2-0 result.
A rough day for FaZe, only broky returned a positive K/D ratio for the international squad, while dav1deuS continued his strong start to life with his new team with a 38-31 statline.
The day didn't only feature bounties being claimed, it also featured an incredibly dominant showing by Spirit as they limited FlyQuest to just four rounds in a 2-0 win.
Another frightening performance by donk, he put up a phenomenal 2.30 rating to send the Aussie team packing.
It then came to a close with another 2-0 victory, this time NAVI as they got one over on Astralis.
device performed admirably on map one, but his 29 kills were not enough to secure Astralis the advantage as they fell 13-11. The PGL Major Copenhagen winners then converted their advantage into a series win on Ancient, taking the map 13-6.
Day two began with another bounty being snatched, this time it was Falcons who lost out as Eternal Fire took them down with a 2-0 scoreline.
The Turkish squad won Inferno with a confident 13-6 scoreline, but required two overtimes to take Nuke 19-17.
BetBoom claimed a bounty in the first round as they took down MOUZ, and they managed to avoid losing their own heads in the second round as the defeated FURIA 2-1.
Starting the series a map down after a 13-11 defeat on Dust2, Ax1Le continued his renaissance with an impressive 54 kills across the BO3.
Next it was Vitality's turn to defend their Bounty, and they did so with a 2-0 victory over Virtus.pro.
Their first game had been the ropz and ZywOo show, but it was mezii who overtook his new Estonian teammate to back up the French AWPer in the second. The Englishman went 37-26, falling shy of ZywOo's impressive 45-23 performance.
We then almost saw another bounty claimed, BIG began their match against G2 with a strong 13-8 win on Ancient.
Powered by HeavyGod, G2 managed to hang on, recovering for a 2-1 victory thanks to 48 kills from him and a further 55 from malbsMd.
