It might only be the second day of the BLAST.tv Austin Major but the heartbreaks have already begun.
Two teams left us today, their Majors cut short as they fell in the 2-0 bracket. But on the bright side, two teams also advanced from Stage 1 today, they now await Stage 2 after returning victorious in the 2-0 bracket.
Let's go over all the action from the day.
BetBoom were arguably upset by FlyQuest in the 1-0 bracket, but they made light work of Legacy in their 1-1 game today.
A match fought on Anubis, s1ren put up another stellar performance as he picked up a 1.62 rating in the 13-3 win.
BetBoom captain Boombl4 was also performing well, he top fragged with 14 kills to put Legacy at risk of elimination.

A highlight-filled match on Inferno, NRG eventually won 13-9, partially thanks to some absolutely silly frags like this one from nitr0.
However, the highlight of the match came from top fragger HexT, his 21-13 game began with this ace on the pistol round.
We're thinking nicoodoz must adore Ancient, the Dane put on another showstopper of a performance as OG took down TYLOO.
13-4 when it was all said and done, OG dominated TYLOO with a 9-3 T side, and nicoodoz top fragged the map with 19 kills.
We think our social team summed up the game the best.
nicoodoz isn't the only star lighting up this Major, Nemiga's zweih put up another stellar performance as his team saw themselves through to the 2-1 bracket with a win over Lynn Vision.
Played on Dust2, the 17 year old added another 21 kills to his tally for the Major thus far, with 13 of them coming on a 1.86 rated CT side.
Those frags helped Nemiga secure a 13-10 win, and they'll now be looking to carry their momentum into a game against FlyQuest tomorrow.

The EU boys opened the series with a comfortable 13-7 win on Ancient, both tN1R and yxngstxr starred in the series, showing that there's undoubtedly a bright future for HEROIC despite the imminent departure of both SunPayus and sAw.
However, FlyQuest did level the tie on Anubis. A map so often decided by T sides, it was the Aussies who had the better T half, they went 9-3 to just edge out HEROIC's 8-4.
HEROIC quickly regained control of the series, though, their 13-6 win on Mirage was the most confident yet. SunPayus starred on the map, he made up for a quiet series by opening up Mirage with a 1v2 clutch.
B8 also made some Pick'Em players happy, they advanced 3-0 with a 2-1 win over hometown heroes Wildcard.
It was Wildcard who started the series the brightest, they managed to edge out overtime on Train to win the map with a 16-14 scoreline. susp and JBa starred, they combined for 50 kills to secure and advantage for Wildcard in the series.
However, Dust2 was a very different story, B8 were comfortable from the word go, recording a 7-5 T side as headtr1ck dominated with a 15-7 statline in the first half. The former NIP man carried on in the second half, too, carrying B8 to a 13-6 win thanks to his 2.12 rating.
Inferno got even better for B8, they dominated Wildcard as they took the series thanks to a 13-2 scoreline. 10-2 at the half after a solid CT side, alex666 took over the star role as he finished the map with 20 kills.
Photo: Stephanie LindgrenThe Major was a torrid time for Metizport, they became the first team eliminated as they failed to win a single map across their three games played in Texas.
The series opened on Nuke, in which Metizport came back from 8-4 down to take it to overtime, but they quickly ran out of steam and were pegged back thanks to a 16-13 win for Imperial.
Imperial wrapped up the series with ease on Dust2, they recorded a dominant 10-2 T side to put the series win easily within their grasp. Metizport may have hoped for a comeback, but hopes of that comeback were quickly dashed as Imperial shut down their B rush in the second half pistol round.
The second team eliminated on day two was Fluxo, who opened their elimination game with a map win on Ancient. 13-10 when it was all said and done, kye put in a superstar performance to put his team in with a chance of clinging onto their Major spot, he went 29-15 to give Fluxo the advantage in the series.
Fluxo then looked to set to wrap up the series in two maps as they held an 11-8 advantage on Mirage. However, a late comeback saw Chinggis Warriors take us to a third, controlez's 25 kills and cool4st's final round clutch saw Chinggis Warriors secure Mirage 13-11.
Momentum was then firmly in the Mongolian teams favour, they were dominant on Nuke as they speedran the Fluxo defence to pick up a 10-2 T side. All hope for Fluxo was soon lost, piriajr couldn't pick finish off a crazy 1v5 attempt to keep Fluxo in the game.
