FaZe may have been defeated in the final of BLAST Premier World Final 2023, but considering they had just one week of practice, they should be pleased by their performances thus far with new signing frozen.
After the loss to Vitality, we spoke we frozen about his first event with the team, his performances, and whether FaZe can get back on top in 2024.
You may have lost, but a final in your first event with FaZe is still a strong performance, are you happy with that?
Yeah, but I did just want to win it, you know? First tournament, it would have been good for the storyline. I'm happy overall, but after the match, I'm of course disappointed.
What about your individual performances? Are you happy with those or will there be a lot more to come when you are more integrated in the lineup?
There is definitely a lot more to come. We've had a very short time together and there is so much that is new to me. I'm not really satisfied with how I played, so you can expect more. I expect more.
At the end of the game, the casters said that it feels like the gap between FaZe and Vitality is quite big, do you feel the same way?
I don't think so. They already played the last tournament with this lineup, whereas we just changed and we've only had one week of practice. I don't think the gap is that huge, but they can say whatever.
Do you think that by IEM Katowice, FaZe will be ready to be on top of Vitality?
Hell yeah.
