Complexity have been in good form recently, but that wasn't enough for them to take down Vitality in the final game of day two.
The NA side showed their development as a roster with a map victory, but they were powerless as ZywOo put in his best CS2 performance yet to take them down.
We've had some close games on Anubis so far at the event, but it was anything but close in this series.
Vitality were unstoppable in the early stages as they raced to a 7-0 lead. Captain apEX was confident, check out this lovely bit of trash talk from the opening rounds:
In fact, they were so dominant that hallzerk took to shaking his keyboard in the air for some form of an answer.
11-1 was the score by the end of the half, and ZywOo had been a consistent threat in those opening 12 rounds.
Complexity did win the pistol in the second half, but there was too much of a mountain for them to climb and the map ended 13-2.
Complexity weren't willing to go down without a fight, they came into Nuke strong with a win in their CT pistol. Vitality were ready to fight back, though, and they picked up round five thanks to a quick couple of kills from ZywOo on the AWP.
EliGE and JT were vital for Complexity with 22 and 24 kills each, but that didn't prevent JT from getting smoke defused by flameZ.
Both halves were 7-5 in favour of the CT side, but overtime was decided by Complexity being able to covert T rounds into wins, and the map ended 16-13.
While the opening stages of Inferno were back and forth, they quickly turned in the favour of Vitality. The moods were clearly high in the Vitality camp.
They were singing exiting spawn at 3-3:
Following their little singsong, Vitality would the next six rounds to take the half 9-3. ZywOo was the best player in the server in that half, he dropped 15 kills to become a constant thorn in Complexity's side.
The second half started well for Complexity, it was ZywOo's opposite number hallzerk who was the star as he cleaned up in Banana.
Despite that incredible round from hallzerk, Vitality won the next round, and although Complexity managed to answer with a couple of their own, the game ended 13-7.
