BLAST.tv Austin Major and MRQ invites confirmed

It's now less than two months until the BLAST.tv Austin Major and the invites are locked in.

North America's first Counter-Strike 2 Major and first Major since ELEAGUE Boston 2018, it's set to be the event of the Summer, and the best teams in the world will be in attendance.

16 teams will receive direct invites to the event, with eight going to straight to Stage 3 and 8 to Stage 2. Of those 16 teams, ten represent the European region, five hail from the Americas, and the final team will be looking to bring pride to Asia.

With the invites now sent out, let's take a look at the teams who will be guaranteed their place in the BLAST.tv Austin Major.

Stage 3 direct invites

The Stage 3 direct invites are split up as follows:

• Six invites for Europe
• One invite for the Americas
• One invite for Asia

The teams receiving the invites are:

The Stage 2 direct invites are split up as follows:

• Four invites for the Americas

Invites have also been sent out for the MRQs, from which 16 teams will advance to Stage 1 of the BLAST.tv Austin Major.
