Many were expecting NiKo to take over as IGL of G2 following the benching of HooXi, but that will not be the case.
Instead, G2 have signed Snax, with the Polish legend joining from GamerLegion after just under a year with the BLAST.tv Paris Major finalists.
The move will see Snax link back up with his former Virtus.pro teammate TaZ, who is now the coach of G2. The duo won a Major together in CS:GO back at EMS Katowice 2014.
The move truly completes Snax's long road back to the big time, he had previously looked to be completely out of it after spending three years in tier two following his departure from VP in 2020.
Snax's stint with GamerLegion may not have had the same high peaks as siuhy's with the same team, however, they did maintain a solid LAN presence despite undergoing multiple roster changes throughout his time as their IGL.
Snax has now established himself as a competent IGL, but also re-established himself as a capable fragger too, a testament as to why he has been brought into G2.
The German organisation is one of the biggest movers within the off-season, they benched both nexa and HooXi in order to bring in Snax and malbsMd from M80.
