Well.
Cloud9 capitulated in the deciding series as they got blown out by MOUZ in dominant fashion.
The Russian fivesome picked up just eight rounds in two maps against the team who just lost talisman frozen in a particularly disappointing game for them.
For MOUZ, though, it was a display of brilliance from the ever-impressive siuhy and his band of young stars.
We asked xertioN if he was surprised at how easy it seemed for them, and he actually wasn't too surprised.
"Not really, to be honest" he answered, deadpan. "I think everyone is capable of what we are capable of as a team."
He did admit that "maybe it will be a shock to people" that they won later on, though.
MOUZ move on to take on FaZe in a grudge match tomorrow. Do not miss that!
siuhy led from the front on Mirage as he continued his excellent streak of performances here in Abu Dhabi to delete Cloud9 from the server.
C9 found next to no success on their T side, and were forced to wait until round 12 before they broke their duck, and even then lost two rounds later.
"We knew what they wanted to do. We were extremely prepared for what they like to do. I think that's a credit to our coach, sycrone", xertioN told BLAST.tv.
Cloud9 came close to winning the odd round in MOUZ' eleven round streak, but twice were denied 1v3s by the final player - but that it would have taken a 1v3 to win one speaks volumes.
"We won a lot of 1v1s, but also it was 3v1s that turned into 1v1s... I think it was more just us overpeeking!"
They had opportunities and actually found openings from time to time, but Cloud9 were incapable of converting them and found themselves on the end of multikills from a variety of MOUZ players time and time again.
Cloud9 answered back with an excellent start on Ancient, racing into a 7-1 lead.
MOUZ picked up their first round with some devious pistol pushes that caught C9 off-guard around the B site, ending in torzsi finding two with the Five-Seven on A to close out the round, but immediately were broken back.
xertioN put the slow start down to Ancient being a map they had "a lot of changes on" and says he needs "more experience in middle", but was largely happy with their understanding of the map.
From there, Cloud9 collapsed.
The final four rounds signalled a change in the tides, as MOUZ found their footing and won some clean rounds, and a wild T side pistol saw them lose two players deep outside of B before running over the other site and winning the pistol with 0.01 seconds left on the bomb.
C9's defence became incredibly pourous, as they found themselves giving up the bombsites too easily, too often, and MOUZ ran over them for a flawless T side and a 12 round streak to win the series in fast-forward.
xertioN believes that NAVI's lack of a real AWPer is a bit of a problem for them, though he does admit that they are five "phenomenal players".
"I think it's a little easier to play against them on our T sides than you would expect against any other team".
