With their defeat of OG, GamerLegion have now successfully battled back from 0-2 to 2-2 in the Challengers Stage.
A position they know all too well, we spoke to acoR after the game about his performances and what they learned from a similar experience in Rio.
You're now 2-2, how are you feeling after the game?
Pretty pumped. We've played really well in the last two games. Now we just need to continue our streak and forget about the first two games.
We previously spoke after your loss to go 0-2, you were dejected then, what have you done mentally to turn it around?
I don't think I've changed my mindset, I'm doing my best in whatever way I can. I think as a team, we've stepped up, everything is contributing and we're all on the same page.
Everyone's remembering the anti-stratting and what we want to do, so everyone's on the same page and taking initiative so that's the best thing for us.
When you go into the deciding map for elimination at the Major, what do you say to each other before it begins?
Most teams set goals for the Major, but that puts so much pressure on you as a team. In our case we prefer to take it one game at a time and do the best we can and take it from there.
You took a different route to get there this time, but in Rio you were also in the 2-2 bracket. Is there anything you learned from last time that will help you this time?
Play as a team. If we do that, that's how we will win the games. You can clearly see that when we play as a team, we're much better.
Individually you've looked very strong so far, especially against MOUZ, is there still an aspect of proving yourself in tier one?
Of course. I want to be the best so I'll do whatever I can to be the best. If that means I have to prove myself to anyone then sure.
