A coach? A manager?
You would've been right to expect that HEROIC playing with sAw instead of degster would have been to their detriment, but the Finn rolled back the years to his playing days to help his team secure advancement to the winners' match.
Now set to face Spirit in their next game, let's take a look at how HEROIC got there in their match versus Complexity.
HEROIC started off very strong on Ancient as they raced to a 5-0 lead on their T side.
Complexity fought hard to get back into the game though, preventing sAw from clutching a 1v2 on the B site.
We saw a successful 1v2 a few rounds later though, floppy clutched up to tie the score at the half.
The 6-6 scoreline mattered for little though, HEROIC ran riot again on their CT side as TeSeS, sjuush, and NertZ all performed to guide their team to a 13-8 win.
HEROIC again started strong on Vertigo, this time building up a 4-0 lead from a pistol round win.
Again, Complexity fought back, but NertZ came up big on the B site to shutdown Complexity's attack.
8-4 in favour of HEROIC at the half, Complexity pulled the game back after winning the second pistol round but TeSeS made them sweat by getting close to a 1v5.
Complexity took map point first, but the round wasn't without this tilting kill from sAw onto hallzerk.
HEROIC came back to secure the two rounds they needed to force OT, and once again it was sAw with a tilter to help his team get a strong start.
It was close for the remainder of the game but Complexity's B rush on round 30 was effectively countered by HEROIC and they took the game 16-14.
