Juicy is already a one-time Major Champion. The French National team player and current Karmine Corp third won with a different French org, Gentle Mates, back in the 2024 season of the RLCS. To say he’s eager for a second is an understatement.
In honor of Karmine Corp clinching the top spot of their group in game, here’s a look at the Media Day interview we conducted with Juicy.
You’ve already won a major with Gentle Mates, do you think this roster is better or worse than the roster you had won that Major with?
A lot better. I have two very good players. I think Atow and Vatira are easily two of the top three in the region. I think we can win a Major and even Worlds.

Among qualified players (60 games or more), Vatira ranks in the top 10 of Europe in goals per game, assists per game, score per game, shots per game, rating, and goal participation.
Atow also ranks in the top 10 in assists per game and rating in Europe. While Juicy is forced to take a backseat to this dynamic francophone one-two punch, he comes in at a respectable 13th in rating among European players.
You got the call in the offseason to join Karmine Corp. What’s it like to play under the banner of such a big organization and passionate fanbase?
It’s an honor, first of all, to have such a big fan base. I had the same with Gentle Mates, but KC is even bigger. So it’s an honor and I can prove myself even more by playing with Karmine Corp.

How are the vibes in the Karmine Corp camp? Does the team do anything off the field to build chemistry?
Yeah we play paddle, we play board games, we try to play team games together. We’re trying to do a lot of things to just bond together off the field and it works pretty well.

Dralii is a former world champion, and was the third on KC last season. Do you feel any pressure to fill those shoes?
I mean not really no. I’m used to playing with those guys, so I don’t really mind replacing someone that’s won a World Championship.
To bounce off that, Dralii and Team Falcons had a shocking result where they actually missed this Major. What do you think happened there?
I think they were surprised by the other MENA teams. I think with the bot situation, they didn’t play the game a lot, so I think their level dropped and the other and the others just didn’t mind and played the game.
I think they were just caught off guard, mostly due to the bots.
Do you think their replacement in R8 Esports will fare any better?
I don’t think so. They’re a rookie team, so I don’t think they’ll have any pressure. But I don’t think they’ll be to the level of the Falcons.
You’ve got a rival in Team Vitality in your group. How do you think you guys match up against them in their current form?
Vitality’s definitely playing very well. They got top two at the last Major, they won a regional and they made top two I think. So they’re playing very well, but I think we have a good matchup against them.
Karmine Corp did, in fact, have a good matchup against EU’s top seed. KC took the series in four over Vitality, winning 2 one-goal games and then closing it out with a convincing 6-0 win on Utopia Coliseum.
That win combined with their reverse sweep win over FUT Esports lifted KC to the top spot of Group A, putting the Blue Wall firmly in the top 6 of the Paris Major.
