We’re live at the 2026 Boston Major. Before the event we sat down with Geekay’s Joyo to ask about the coming event.

The casters started a narrative about you guys being the MVP squad from 2022. It is now 2026. Are you washed?
I actually think that all three of us are the best we’ve ever been. I think you just naturally improve as the years go on.

How do you keep yourself motivated to play year after year?
The money’s good, to be honest. And I don’t really have an education so this is all I can really do. This is like my… I went all in on this.
- Joyo on depth in EU vs. NA
You guys are the fifth seed in EU, are there enough seeds for EU now, or does it need more?
Five’s perfect. The teams below, wait can I swear? Yeah the teams below us are kind of shit.
There’s a few okay teams, but below us is a gap between most of the teams. Five is perfect. EU are the best region by quite a bit but five is perfect. And NA should probably have four, because I think below they’re kind of shit as well.

How do you rate the depth in NA versus EU?
Well it’s not even close, to be honest.
I mean I’m thinking of some EU players like Accro and TempoH, and even Rezears, they’re a clear of a lot of NA talent.
Even just thinking about our team. We’re EU’s fifth seed. Compared to NA’s five, we’re way better.
We can actually go to the tournament right now in Boston and win. The NA five seed would probably get first rounded. Like 0-3 in the group.
What’s it like playing with someone whose first language isn’t the same as yours?
It’s kind of funny. I’ve done it loads now. I had Vatira, Juicy, and Seikoo. I don’t know who else I’ve had. I guess technically Oaly but Oaly has really good English. It’s funny.
I don’t know, I really like Seikoo’s accent especially. And I teach them stuff in English.
As kind of a follow up, what kinds of complications and issues can it cause?
Being realistic, the main thing is probably like processing.
I think a lot of non-native English speakers like… when you communicate with them in English, I think they translate it back to French in their head, and it can take a bit longer to process.
That’s probably like, the biggest hurdle to get over. But I think after a few months of playing together, they kind of get used to it.
Anything else to add?
We’re going to go 3-0.
