While the Boston Major is just around the corner, it’s never too early to look ahead to the second Major of the RLCS Season, taking place in front of one of the most passionate esports fanbasess, at Paris La Defense Arena.
Just some 12 kilometres away from France’s capital, 16 teams will be battling out for their share of $354,000 USD, as well as some coveted RLCS points to see who will be heading to the 2026 Rocket League World Championship.
Here’s everything you need to know about the Rocket League Paris Major.

The Paris Major kicks off on May 20th of this year and will go until Championship Sunday on the 24th.
The group stage, played in a studio environment, will take place on the 20th and 21st of the month.
After that, players will head to the center of the arena and battle for the Major crown from the 22nd to the 24th in front of the crowd.
The winner will take home $102,000 USD, 36 RLCS points, and some major momentum heading into the World Championship.
Just like in Boston, the 16 teams will be split into 4 groups of 4. Five teams from Europe (thanks to Karmine Corp), as well as 4 squads from North America, 2 from Middle East & North Africa, 2 from South America, and one from Oceania, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Asia Pacific respectively.
Unlike in Boston, however, 12 teams will be making it through groups to the playoffs, and each of these sides will be playing in front of the electric French crowd.
The winner of each group gets a free pass to the top 6 and an extra life to boot.
The 8 lineups that didn’t place either first or last in their respective groups will be battling out in the lower bracket, with no extra life to save them. The four that place last in their groups will bow out before the crowd days and before the playoffs.
Each group stage series will be a best of 5, and each playoff series will be a best of 7.
