Atomic is already in contention for being the greatest North American player of all time, and NRG is once again pulling up the RLCS World Championship as the region's #1 seed.

It's also worth noting that he is a 2-time Worlds runner-up, and they say third time's the charm...

We had a chance to get his thoughts on all this and more ahead of this week's tournament!

You’re one of NA's only 2-time RLCS LAN winners and coming in as the #1 seed. How do you think the French crowd will receive you?

I think they're gonna boo us no matter what. I think they're gonna boo anybody that isn't French, honestly.

We heard that your luggage got lost. Will you have a jersey in time for your matches?

I'm not even sure, honestly. I think somebody is bringing some other jersey, and I think it might get here before tomorrow, but we're not sure.

What was the “handsome reward” promised by the @NRGCurrent account?

EWC may not have been the result you were hoping for, but NRG's RLCS results this season have still been very solid. Do you feel confident in a bounce back?

Yeah, I do. EWC we were just... we played the people who ended up winning the tournament and we lost to them in Game 5 overtime.

I mean, we could've done better, but also, we know that this is the tournament that matters and we've been practicing well.

Speaking of recent results, how would you personally rank each of the RLCS regions based on their current form?

Current form, probably EU first, NA second, MENA third, and SAM fourth.

And then what? Oceania and then SSA [and APAC], probably.

Do you have a main rival at this LAN? Is there a specific player or team you want to outperform?

I have two rivals, I'd say, because in NA I always play Firstkiller on The Ultimates and then in EU I play M0nkey M00n a lot on Vitality. He beat me two times at the Worlds finals so, probably him, I would like to beat him.

But honestly, I'd wanna beat Karmine in front of their Blue Wall or whatever, their big crowd.

Who do you predict will be in the Grand Final?
