Raven's Armor is one of the newest high-tier gear sets added to The Forge with the New Cave update released on January 3, 2026.
It is designed for players who want better survivability while exploring tougher cave areas, especially the Red Cave. The set includes three pieces and is unlocked through a short but combat-heavy questline.
What is Raven's Armor in The Forge
Image via RobloxRaven's Armor is a meta-tier armor set made up of a Helmet, Chestplate, and Leggings. Each piece is crafted individually at Frostpire Expanse Island.
Before you can craft anything, you must unlock the recipes by completing quests given by the Raven NPC. These quests take you through Spider Cave and later into the Red Cave, where enemies are much stronger.

Raven's Armor pieces and forge chances in The Forge
Image via RobloxEach Raven's Armor piece is obtained by crafting its Heavy Armor version with a forge chance of 1/8. The exact health stats and selling prices are still not confirmed in-game.
- Raven's Helmet is forged from a Heavy Helmet.
- Raven's Chestplate is forged from a Heavy Chestplate.
- Raven's Leggings are forged from Heavy Leggings.
Where to start the Raven questline in The Forge?
Image via RobloxThe Raven questline starts near the Spider Cave. You will find the Raven NPC at a campsite close to the cave entrance.
There are three quests in total, and all of them must be completed to unlock every Raven's Armor recipe.
Raven’s Quest 1 requirements and reward
In the first quest, you stay inside the Spider Cave. Your tasks include killing 5 Crystal Spiders, mining 10 Icy Pebbles, and collecting 1 Aethrite ore from icy nodes like Icy Pebbles, Icy Rocks, or Icy Boulders. Completing this quest unlocks the recipe for Raven's Helmet.
Raven’s Quest 2 requirements and reward
The second quest starts at the locked entrance of the Red Cave. Here, you must defeat 1 Prismatic Spider and 10 Diamond Spiders inside the Spider Cave.
You also need to bring back 1 Snowite mined from icy nodes. Finishing this quest rewards you with the Red Cave Key and the recipe for Raven's Chestplate.
Raven’s Quest 3 requirements and reward
The final quest takes place deep inside the Red Cave. To find the Raven NPC, you must reach the end of Crimson Depths and enter a hidden bush leading to Corruption's Heart.
The quest requires killing 10 Demonic Spiders, 25 Mini Demonic Spiders, and 1 Demonic Queen Spider. You also need to collect 1 Stolen Heart by mining a stone with a red core. Completing this quest unlocks the recipe for Raven's Leggings.
Raven's Armor crafting recipes in The Forge

Snowite-based recipes use Frost-themed materials and are crafted as follows:
- Raven's Helmet requires 8 Velchire, 10 Snowite, and 8 Frost Fossil or Forgite.
- Raven's Leggings require 9 Frost Fossil or Forgite, 12 Snowite, and 9 Velchire.
- Raven's Chestplate requires 12 Frost Fossil or Forgite, 16 Snowite, and 12 Velchire.
Duranite-based recipes rely on Ethereal materials.
- Raven's Helmet requires 8 Velchire, 10 Duranite, and 8 Etherealite.
- Raven's Leggings require 9 Etherealite, 12 Duranite, and 9 Velchire.
- Raven's Chestplate requires 12 Etherealite, 16 Duranite, and 12 Velchire.
