The infected Angel Comb is one of the important objectives tied to the Blackbox Wander signal in Subnautica 2. Completing this task rewards you with the Heat Tolerance adaptation, which is required to safely explore hotter regions later in the game.
Before you can cure the Angel Comb, you'll need to clear several Bloom Cankers, deal with hostile creatures, and craft a specific tool. Here's everything you need to know.

Start by following the Blackbox Wander signal. Head toward 255 degrees North from your Lifepod until you reach a massive orange coral structure.
Look underneath the coral and you'll find a tunnel entrance. The path is blocked by Bloom Cankers, which are preventing access to the infected Angel Comb deeper inside the area.
To remove them, you'll need a Sonic Resonator.

Before entering the infected area, craft a Sonic Resonator using the following materials:
You'll also need the Sonic Resonator blueprint and access to a Fabricator in your base.
Once crafted, bring it with you before entering the cave.
Inside the cave, you'll eventually come across an infected juvenile Angel Comb.
Look closely at its roots and you'll notice glowing Bloom Cankers attached to them. Use the Sonic Resonator to destroy these infected growths.
While doing this, you'll encounter Bloom Parasites floating around the area. They can be destroyed with the Sonic Resonator, but focusing on the Bloom Cankers first is usually the faster approach.
After curing the first juvenile Angel Comb, follow the root system toward 15 degrees North.
As you move forward, you'll reach the area containing the main Angel Comb. However, don't focus on it yet.
Instead, continue following the roots on the left side. This path leads toward another infected juvenile Angel Comb located near an underwater shipwreck.
Just like before, destroy all four Bloom Cankers attached to the roots.
After clearing the infection, return to the main Angel Comb objective.
The main Angel Comb is protected by an infected Marrowbreach.
As soon as you enter the area, the creature will become aggressive and start attacking. Use the Sonic Resonator to remove the Bloom Parasites attached to its body. Doing so temporarily stuns the Marrowbreach.
While it is stunned, focus on destroying as many Bloom Cankers as possible.
The Bloom Parasites will eventually return and infect the Marrowbreach again, so repeat the process until all Bloom Cankers are destroyed.
Once every Bloom Canker has been removed, the Angel Comb will finally bloom.
After the sequence is complete, you'll receive the Heat Tolerance adaptation as a reward.
