Marvel Rivals, NetEase’s super-sized hero shooter, has 9 playable maps, with a 10th coming sometime during Season 1. These are divided into three game modes, and four distinct in-universe regions.
Outside of these, there are two additional maps with their respective, special game modes, available in their dedicated queues, separate from the Quick Play and Competitive matchmaking.

Both Competitive and Quick Match queues feature the same 9 playable maps. As we mentioned earlier, a 10th one is coming during Season 1, likely between late February and early March.
The map is called Empire of Eternal Night: Central Park, but its respective game mode has not been confirmed yet.

All maps belong to a specific region, based on the game’s lore. But even if that side of Marvel Rivals isn’t relevant to you, you should still know which map belongs to each region, because you might have quests tied to this.
Frequently, weekly quests will ask you to play certain heroes in maps from a specific region. Although some are obvious, others, not quite.
