Escape From Tarkov: Kordbreach Cast The Net Guide
Prapor prepared quite a few new quests for us in Escape From Tarkov’s first season. One of those was Uninvited Guests, which we covered here:

But he saved a much tougher one for second. Here is our full guide for Cast The Net, a Kordbreach exclusive task which will take you to Ground Zero, Shoreline, and Streets of Tarkov.
Cast The Net
On paper, this task is simple. Prapor gives you six Wi-Fi Cameras to place. Two for Ground Zero, two for Shoreline, and the other two for Streets of Tarkov. The problem is how exposed most of the areas are.
A couple of tips before we get started: Wi-Fi Cameras fit in the Special Slot. You can carry two there and have a spare slot (for a Green Flare or a CMS Kit); you do not need to survive any of the raids.
Ground Zero
Outside The Wine Shop
The first place where you will need to drop a Wi-Fi Camera in Ground Zero is at the ramp road outside the Wine shop where you complete Prapor’s Luxurious Life task.
Right by the top of the road that leads to the underground area there is a semi-truck. You need to place the camera in the actual truck, not the trailer. Stand there for 10 seconds and pray that no one shoots you.
Yellow Underground Bus
From there, go down the ramp, and take a left, essentially a u-turn. Once you get to the actual underground area go right and you will spot the yellow bus.
You need to place the Wi-Fi camera inside the actual bus. Get in and walk towards the middle part and crouch so you can place it safely.
Shoreline
Smuggler’s Base Excavator
On the top right corner of Shoreline there is a more recent area known as the Smuggler’s Base, by the Smuggler’s Path extraction.
You need to place the Wi-Fi Camera on the Excavator on the Western edge of the camp, by the tiny river.
Ural Truck By Power Station
The second Shoreline location is right in the middle of the map, by the Power Station. Make sure you are on the Western side of the river for this one.
Your target is the Ural Truck (big, green truck) that is by the road outside the Western side of Power Station. This is an extremely exposed position, so try to go prone or hide your head.
Streets Of Tarkov
Construction Truck
Our first target in Streets of Tarkov is by Construction. On the Northern edge of the area, right by the Collapsed crane, you will find a massive truck.
You need to mark it, which obviously takes 10 seconds. This is a very populated area of the map due to its proximity to Lexus and Kaban, so leave it to the tail end of a raid as you are about to extract unless you spawn close to Construction.
Toilets In Front Of Cinema
This is a much calmer area of Streets of Tarkov but it is one filled with PMC spawns. Even if you spawn in the Cinema or nearby, do not rush towards the objective.
Your target is by the blue portable bathrooms in the garden area in front of the Cinema. There is a lot of cover so the area itself is safe, as long as you don’t cross any spawning players heading towards more valuable locations of the map.
Quest Rewards
Completing Cast The Net will reward you with:
- 11,000 XP
- 180,000 Roubles
- 2x Bottles of Fierce Hatchling moonshine
It will also unlock Know Your Enemy, the next Kordbreach task.
